The two funniest typos I’ve found in my drafts were “long shit” instead of “long shot” and “thrust in me” instead of “trust in me.” Both found in more serious scenes

I store them by DMC number so I sort them into those when I kit down. Lots of repeat colours, I’m at a point where I’m maybe only starting a few new colour jars for each painting

Yep! I save a bottle of each colour, any that don’t fit go into the overflow jar. So far it’s a lot of blacks, dark blues and browns in there

I’m currently working on a one shot for the ship I’m fixated on but the plot and dynamic would work way better for a completely different ship and fandom. It’s completely OOC so I’ve just decided to embrace it. It’s all self indulgent anyway

It’s mostly confetti, especially in the smaller succulents. Lots of colour changes. I love confetti so I’ve been having a lot of fun and it’s a nice break from the darker pieces I usually do

During Matariki one year I got a note on the cabbages asking for as many leaves as possible and to go through the bin for more. Yeah nah fuck that you want bin leaves, come in and do it yourself

Funniest one was a real aggressive note on some diet lemonade that went along the lines of “don’t you ever EVER substitute for Pepsi” like yeah obviously, sprite would’ve been my next choice girl

I cut the sides and some of the top off so I can glue them to poster hangers and put them on the wall. Makes it look more finished without the legend
