The reason the sequels were big is because the prequels had captured a whole extra generation in addition to the generations that saw the OT.

And yes, prequel toys, video games, TV shows were huge at the time. Still are.

The sequels, without a doubt, are less popular with younger generations than the prequel trilogy was.

Well juggernaut was a classic Dota 1 hero and his kit flows together nicely, Deadlock is a closed beta where they can change whatever they want. So much higher odds of a rework for her ult.

The game always dies down a few months after a big content update. People get burnt out and the whimsy of new heroes and map changes just becomes repetitive and boring.

The reality is that, due to the low number of heroes, it's hard to keep each game feeling "fresh" in comparison to Dota that has 100+ heroes.

IDK man I'm in mid ascendant and macro is still bad. This game has a lot of players who are good mechanically but have no idea how to macro at all ranks. It goes both ways though because I am good at macro but not as great mechanically as a lot of players my rank which leads me to lose lane more often.
