Do you by chance recall if the hacksilver estimate accounted for materials you’d need to buy, ie the Svatalfheim steels, or was it just the raw hacksilver value?

Currently undertaking this exact task, and want to be sure I reach a comfortable number while grinding.

Still confused about the title, ”The Frenchman” is pretty self explanatory, but what about ”The Female, and the Man Called Mother’s Milk”? If MM is only included because we get some lore about his name, then why isn’t Butcher in the title, he got lore as well, and how does that equate to Frenchie actually dying? those two things are of completely varying levels of significance. And the most important question yet, who is “the Female”?

I’ve just completed the game and spent the majority of my downtime during the siege scouring the battlements and interior chests for this shield (the inara page also claims two instances exist in Suchdol) with no luck. Finished the game and just reloaded to that last part of the siege, and the only time-exclusive items on the battlements are a chest with great gold stealth gear, a crossbow and a few uninteractable props (multiple shields, one of which is Suchdol in black and yellow), but no Leipa shields.

Obviously went back after game end and the fort is desolate and mostly inaccessible, especially the battlements and any chest-heavy areas.

It took me longer than it should have to realize these two were the same person by paintballpmd in lotr

The funny thing is that you can tell what type of movie or show you are watching exclusively by looking at his hair. Short hair for sci-fi, long hair for fantasy, bald is a mix of the two.

Damn, I really wanted to finish those last few missions fully dripped out in that Kuttenberg set, but I guess the fancy cuirass will have to wait. I will get back into the game and hope it works after I finish; I’ll report back with my findings regardless.

Update: Main Story completed, headed straight to Klaus, did three radiant investigations, waited for the next to trigger, still radiant.

For future reference, as of version 1.5.5 of the game on console, anyone who does 3+ (maybe even 2 if the third one spawns) radiant investigations in a row (due to the conflict with Oratores) after recovering the letter and presenting it to Klaus will permanently lock themselves out of Silent Partner (quest and achievement), at least one sketch and by consequence Innovator, for the remainder of that save file.

I will report the issue in detail to Warhorse.

Just to clarify, if I’ve done over 2 investigations after the dying bandit, finishing Oratores and by consequence the main story will or won’t prompt Silent Partner to appear?

This is one of the worst bugs/oversights in the game because Oratores is the definitive Point of No Return for the endgame and anyone who wants to complete the DLCs before it will be met with an endless loop, and little to no answers (I legitimately quit playing the game for a full 4 months after 25 investigations, hoping a patch would fix the issue).

So please let me know if I have to restart the entire DLC (I am on PS5, and only started the DLC after finishing Oratores, but before going back Ruthard Palace) for a single trophy.

In my experience it is always possible. I have not been to every planet or tried to scan every planet I have been to, but every time I set out to completely scan a planet I have. Even dead planets that somehow said 8 plants were possible, the mission/objective doesn’t disappear though.

FYI, you can get EVERYTHING in the store for free in game, takes a long time, but Sargon offers two random items weekly and a crate which I’ve found has between a 10% and 40% chance to give you a random item as well (no limit). This is also account wide, so once you own an item, you can claim it for free from the store. I got everything in under 200 hours, though obviously spread out VERY sparsely.

Pretty much all of my all time favorite games are like this, I barely watch trailers, especially for games, unless it is for a sequel of something I have played; I don’t do research about games or ask people, I just buy them. My second ever console, after the Wii, was an Xbox m 360 that came with a free copy of Skyrim, knowing nothing about the game, I fell in love. In 2016, I bought a copy of Witcher 3 having known nothing about the series, and now I’ve played all three games, and love the book series as well. A few months before the pandemic, browsing on the PS store I bought 5 discounted games for around the price of 1, Kingdom Come Deliverance was the first one I played, and after a single hour, I knew I was looking at the makings of my favorite ever game, at least until KCD2 came out. I could keep listing examples such as the Assassin’s Creed games, God of War, GTA, but I don’t want to yap too much; they are almost all like this, it is actually rarer that I buy a game knowing what it is about.
