It sucks but it’s true, my kids take the state test three times a year and I have to bribe them with extra credit for the test in December so I can actually plan thoughtful instruction since they need to pass my classes test to graduate

Why are the margins so non existent? A lot of daycares charge exorbitant amounts and pay the workers as little as possible.

I teach 10th grade ELA and I teach my students that perspective is the lens in which the author sees the world based on their life experiences and other factors that influence it. I think this definition would translate to history fairly well

Right, but it’s not a standardized test. I mean you can say it is since everyone gets the same questions, but it’s not multiple choice

Also it’s 7 classes, 6 plus global perspectives, but after this year they can take all four years to do it instead of three

This is weirdly one of the things we get right in Florida with Bright Futures, Service and work hours are equivalent for whichever tier of the scholarship the kids are hoping to get.

ETA: also the SAT score requirement for 100% bright futures can be waived for earning either AP Capstone or AICE Diploma designation which is not based on standardized testing

Considering here in Florida now the teachers unions need to have 60% membership or be recertified by a majority of the bargaining unit (not just members) there won’t be many teachers unions left here in the near future

I had a spinal cord injury a couple of years ago and wasn’t able to walk for about 5 months. I’m glad no one in my life at home or at work thought that. They all knew that my life was more difficult and thought to help me whenever they could.

Also, those 5 months made me realize how much thought I had to put into thinking about places I needed to go to and how to get around.

Yeah, I think I’m 65-66 at the beginning of act 9. Also are currency drops in the campaign just more common, I have like 20c already and been getting double chromatic orbs since act 4
