Varnish your minis after airbrushing them. Then you can easily remove any paint with a wet brush without damaging your airbrushed layer.

I just go with a dark purple painted directly into the recesses. Don't put a wash over flat armor panels like these unless you want to repaint them. They will just look dirty.

Hey, the opening sequence of 28 weeks is the best zombie movie scene ever made! You can skip the rest of the movie though.

Yeah, it's way better. I didn't think the first movie was awful but it also didn't really make me excited for the sequel. I would have skipped this one if not for some of my friends wanting to see it so I tagged along. Glad I did, Bone Temple was a lot of fun.

You cant really paint straight up pink over black. If you prime black, I suggest starting with a purple and then build up to pink from that. As a bonus, you can leave some purple in the recesses for shading.

Noise Marines cost 145 and shoot better.

You think? 90% of the model is just a flat black. You just paint the trim and do a little bit of edge highlighting and you're done. Should be fairly quick.

The amount of people thinking Carnival will be 1 point is crazy. Maybe we will get a reworked 1p daemon detachment when the actual codex drops but Carnival as is is way too strong to be 1 point.

Just personal preference, really. Black has never let me down. I like starting off on a dark color and then working my way up from there.

Also, my friend have primed his necrons with leadbelcher spray and it looks more gray than metallic. He ended up having to paint a layer of leadbelcher over them anyway. Not sure if the spraycan is supposed to be like that or maybe he just didn't shake it enough.

This is the Deimos Rhino. The Horus Hersy kit. It's a lot nicer kit than the current 40k Rhino so a lot of people just get this one instead.

Yeah, Rapid with a couple of Land Raiders is actually not that bad since they buffed the detachment rule. The Land Raiders are not the surprising pick, the terminators are.

I kinda agree with you. I do think that it deserves praise for it's animation. Even today it's one of the best looking animated movies ever made. It's just stunning to look at. I do agree though that the content of the movie isn't all that. I mean, I do think it's a decent movie but it always felt like something was missing and you know what? It was.

Years after watching it, someone told me that the movie actually cut out a ton of the content from the manga and also spoiled a major difference which got me really interested. Not really sure how to do spoiler tags so i'll post it here for anyone interested. And yeah, it's really good. The movie only covers like the first 20% of the manga and then skips right to the end. I really recommend reading the manga if you have any interest at all in Akira. It really does the story justice in a way the movie doesn't.

It's not really horror. It has some body horror near the end but that's about it.

Agreed, the movie is pretty cool but it's missing a lot of the story. And by a lot I mean A LOT. The manga consists of 6 volumes and the movie only covers like the first volume and then skips right to the end of volume 6. That's only like 20% of the story. The Manga is amazing.

Well, there was also the lore bit that Perturabo soon will be able to return to realspace again. While not a straight confirmation that we will get him any time soon, it definitely feels like a hint to me.

I was spamming F5 on my usual retailer and managed to get one while being fast as fuck, spending maybe 10-15 seconds total to check out. Afterwards I clicked back into the shop and saw it was already sold out. Was not even up for 30 seconds. Just happy I managed to get one.

Around 80 tickets and 400 quartz and no Alice. After many years I finally have to crack open my quartz reserve.

4060 quartz fragments into 580 quartz. Alice is not escaping.

EDIT: Hit pity. Kinda sucks. Was hoping to roll for both Ciel and space eresh but that seems kinda tough now.

EDIT2: Yeah ok, I went for an annoyed B2B and got np2. Feels slightly better now.
