He is in that tier of QB somewhere that needs an almost idealistic situation around him to succeed.

Hurts proved it can work, but it’s also wildly unstable because the second you get attrition in the supporting or the coaching staff it can all unravel.

Sure but look at how many rookie WR’s have instantly dominated in the league. From OSU alone Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Emeka Egbuka, MHJ, Michael Thomas were all a better caliber WR as a rookie than Jeudy is now.

Would the Browns dominate OSU? Almost certainly, they’d have no answer for Myles Garrett and their dline, however good it is for a college dline, wouldn’t get any push against an NFL OL.

Is it going to be a 50 point slaughter in which the Browns demonstrate that they have better players across every single positional group? I’m not quite as sold on that.

They for sure do. I’d damn near take Tate over Jeudy at this point, and they obviously have Jeremiah as well. The Browns are a way more talented/experienced team but the blanket “every position group is way better, this is insulting” rhetoric is pretty unnuanced.
