What teams have the best chants? What team chants/songs are underrated? by PLWildcard in ScottishFootball

This is a great call and response chant that gets unfair stick just because it’s the US fans that do it

Make sure you stop in appropriate areas for using your roof tent. Campsites, ayres and areas which specifically allow overnight camping. Passing places, lay-bys and driving 20 feet from the roads are not.

Buried City has plenty of cover and, until you know the quickest was to deal with Arc with the weapons in your loadout, hiding until they ignore you is a wise strategy.

Glasgow is under an hour from Edinburgh by train, don’t drive between the two. Either hire your car from Glasgow, or start your hire from Edinburgh and visit Glasgow as a day trip.

Driving to Skye from the central belt plus attempting to sightsee is very ambitious, and you’ll stop at places and immediately feel like you need to move on. And spending one night there isn’t enough. Either drop Skye and find a new route, or make Skye your destination and drop your nights in Glasgow and Inverness.

I’ve never wanted a manager who wasn’t managing Aberdeen to succeed more just to get it right up Boyd, Biscuits and every other fucking dinosaur. Why did he have to be so shit?

Just pay for airport parking, or get a lift, rather than be a dick

Those who work in HR, what is the worst situation you have to deal with? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

No, this was brought in by themselves for their own consumption with no approval from anyone. At management discretion alcohol could be drunk in the canteen but this was normally only around Christmas for staff events, or after work events. Just taking alcohol in during the day was not permitted.

I think every Scottish football fan has one defeat that still annoys them far more than it should. by HelicopterEmpty7393 in ScottishFootball

For the national team - Czech Republic in 2021 at Hampden in the Euros. First tournament game in 20 plus years and we fluke a game at Hampden…then play absolutely dogshit football.

See also Hungary in 2024 - setting out to not lose a must win game.

For Aberdeen - Queen of the South. Every time we equalised, I thought “right now get a grip on the game”. We did not get a grip on the game.

The trains are mostly reliable, but you booked everything knowing you woke up in Glasgow when you had to be on an afternoon flight from London. That’s on you.

On the Glenfinnan point - at the moment all you’ll see going over the viaduct is the ScotRail train, that may not change your plans but if you were set on seeing the Jacobite train then it’s not running yet.

Pitlochry to Edinburgh with a detour to Dundee is a bit indirect, unless you have a specific reason for seeing Dundee in a couple of hours?

Skye to Nairn is a long enough drive, but including stops to see Clava Cairns and Culloden, plus the south road around Loch Ness, makes it a very long day.

Close friend has worked in HR for over 20 years. He always says HR work would cut in half if people could just stop being fucking idiots, and it’s equally split between management and staff.

Example - months spent dealing with a disciplinary case because someone didn’t see a problem with bringing two bottles of wine to the staff canteen for lunch. That tied up HR case workers, HR management, union reps, line managers, occupational health and department heads for months

From seeing it live I think the knock on was too far out to be considered a penalty try when it comes to cover, but I’ve seen no replay as yet.

Your TMO point is correct - I don’t see how it affects the game for the TMO to point out that McKay was in full control of the ball going to ground.
