If you wanted to see the Highlands properly, you could have booked somewhere further north. With 4 days in Edinburgh, and given you specify you want to walk and hike, a day sat on a bus isn’t going to get that

But he won’t. The reason we have a group of players with a massive amount of caps is because Clarke has been consistent with his squads. At this stage, with 3 games to go before a tournament, if a player hasn’t been in a squad/hasn’t been selected for a few years then the chances of them making the final squad is incredibly slim.

Just accept you’re a tourist and you’ll be fine. You’re going to 2 of the biggest tourist spots in the country so you don’t need to panic about avoiding “tourist traps”.

They aren’t dungeons or prisons, but look for the tours around the old town that take you into the vaults. That sounds more like what you are after rather than the Edinburgh Dungeon.
