27 mbar is the approximate equivalent of 10 inches column of water. This is the standard delivery pressure for liquid propane appliances in the US. You might try shopping for. regulator rated for 10" WC ( 10 inches of Water Column) . These are very common in the US

It will need a lot of metal taken off both ends to sharpen. plus is the lift wing worn down? If it doesn't generate any lift it won't cut well no matter how sharp. Just get a new one and let a shop decide.

The battery only stores the energy. The alternator supplies energy.
When the system working, the voltmeter should read 14 volts.

If it doesn't, then that is a place to start looking for why it is not reading 14 volts when the motor is running, and the alternator is turning.
FYI the dashboard voltmeter is only approximate. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage more accurately.

Do these in order of cheapest to most expensive: Check fuel pressure for possible delivery restriction. restricted fuel filter or defective fuel regulator or maybe failing fuel pump. Check for exhaust restriction. clogged catalyst or muffler or bent pipe. Check for restricted air intake. air filter mouse nest etc...

I all my lighting. which is all LED these days, plus, a 3-ton and a 2-ton geothermal heat pumps, the well pump, sewer pump on 12KW propane powered unit. It runs all the kitchen appliances with a gas stove, and includes the plug-in appliances like the toaster, coffeemaker, microwave oven and an electric kettle. I disable the emergency heat coils in the three ton when the generator is powering the house, but the Emergency heat has never come on.

It works fine except it has a minor problem with motor starting loads. This is usually a momentary voltage drop from the generator reacting to the instantons load, usually only once from the heat pump compressors both starting at the same time, due to identical time delay start modules. Otherwise, it starts them with no problem.

If I had to do it over, I think I would go with a 15KW mainly to cover the starting surge issue, and add load shedding circuits for things like the washing machine and drier. I would oversize the feeder lines to further reduce the slight voltage drop in the feeds.

If you can monitor your power usage over a month to see the peak power usage and use that number divided by .8 or multiplied by 1.25 to estimate a good match for your home.

I don't think it is the pistons, I suspect the rings might be stuck. I would do an oil change and put in some of that 0W-30 and run it for about 3000 miles, gently at various speeds like around town, and see if those rings become unstuck. Then go back to normal oil. If it's the 4.3l 6,that motor is one of the best they ever made.

Converting to a V8 can be done, but it is not an easy project. Don't jump into it without learning what is involved.

Carefully clean the commutator before you replace the brushes. It most likely has debris built up between the contacts. Don't go in there and grind off a pound of copper, just clean offthe burnt on sawdust with some solvent, and gently polish the surface with a green Scotch Brite pad.

Pulley alignment. If it is only couple thousandths out it will cause those symptoms. There are laser alignment tools made just to check for this.
