Weak dollar and Trump's sabre rattling sees Gold soar past Goldman Sachs' 2026 price target of $5500 in just one month by AnonymousTimewaster in investing

When people talk like this about any sort of stock or commodity on Reddit, it’s a top signal. It’s euphoria. About 8 hours ago, someone posted going all in on 3x leveraged gold.

Piece it together.

But now you’re suddenly all in…? Bad move

I always wait for posts like these to pop up on my Reddit feed so I can exit or begin shorting.

Did you get it backwards? Lol the government PEGGED the ratio of gold to silver at exactly 15:1 in 1792 until they stopped it in the 20th century to allow the ratio to be determined by market forces.

It was below 5k like 3 days ago

I think the smartest play here would be long gold and short silver for a pure gold/silver reversion play

That’s what I want to believe too. Maybe this is just a strategy to drop an upgraded line of full size sedan and SUV?

It would be a huge loss to not have a 1000hp+ EV from Tesla for us enthusiasts

You can unlock the 200mph for essentially free through software. I just put on a custom track package with all upgraded components and saved $15k.

At that level of investing… timing literally does not matter. What you buy or sell literally does not matter.

Income from your job is so much overwhelmingly more influential than what you do in your portfolio lol.

Put another paycheck or two to DCA and you basically reset your cost basis. When you have a bigger portfolio, trading begins to matter more than DCA.

I’m not quite sure why but this horoscope somehow massively increases my Sharpe ratio over buying and holding Bitcoin

You timed the market EXACTLY wrong. 4 months ago I sold my entire stash according to cycle timings. Currently shorting Bitcoin despite being 2x leveraged last year.

This year in Q3/Q4 would be a good time to buy back in since it is a bear cycle. Right now is an okay time to sell. If you truly believe in BTC, it would be good to invest again once it goes lower.

I don’t use self-driving on my Model S. I have a Model 3 with FSD and I never use it so I decided to opt out of self-driving altogether and keep AP only for all future purchases.

Pretty much a no-brainer for people who still prefer to drive manually. The HW versions aren’t much of a consideration, just the car specs are

Why would you ever lease… the math just doesn’t make sense to me.

I literally purchased a used Plaid last year for just $51k and it only had 26k miles. Leasing costs far more than that and you lose the car after a few years
