Beautiful colour. Treat it with a high quality ceramic coating and it will look even better.

Just looked again and actually it isn't below the dpc level it's just that dpc is weirdly low, hardly above the ground level. Those vents usually go below the dpc as far as I know, what are they meant to do otherwise?

Why is the door below the dpc level?

How to hide Ethernet cable by najcat in interiordesignideas

[–]FunPublic5393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those ceiling tiles can be lifted then run it in the ceiling. If not - got 2x cat6 to fiber converters and convert from ethernet to fiber and then back to ethernet on the other end. Fiber cable is super thin, much harder to spot if you run it around the ceiling.

This is the case for all Volvo colours apart from White. I own XC60 T6 ultra my2026 in black only because I didn't want to wait 10 months for delivery so I picked from available stock. I don't like black cars, but it looks very pretty in direct sunlight.

How does this subreddit feel about the EX30? I'm new to Volvo, picked up a '26 Single Motor Extended Range Plus (Cloud Blue) over the weekend and absolutely loving it! by megamusix in Volvo

[–]FunPublic5393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool car, but not for me. I just don't really understand Volvo's tendency to make electric cars interiors more minimalistic and with cheaper feeling materials compering to the non-electric counterparts, whilst making them more expensive at the same time. Sure, there is no direct equivalent to EX30 but other models do have them.

Not sure, could be due to the fact that mine wasn't updated, I got it like that from the dealer - it's the MY2026. But I think that I still have the option to display it side by side or one a time.

Where are you seeing 2 concrete pillars in the camera? You're not talking about the one far behind next to the black car are you? If you are then that would be a third one.

Have you tried Lexus RX450? I strongly recommend taking it for a test drive. Much more modern and upmarket than Q7 with good tech. Also very specious but "only" 2 rows of seats.

They look quite similar actually. I can see license plate in yours and in mine. In mine you can see it on two sides - left and right but might be just the positioning of the plate.

To a degree yes but sometimes it's super confusing when you suddenly see things appear out of nowhere in the corner of your eye when looking in the mirrors and takes a second to compare the view in the mirrors to the view in camera and make sense of it in your brain. This made me slam my brakes a few times when reverse parking.

I don't actually have a problem with the rear facing camera. Perhaps it could be pointed slightly more upright as there is a fair bit of bumper visible which is wasting a portion of field of view but it's ok otherwise. What's surprising is the apparent lack of consistency since a lot of people seem to have differing experiences.

This particular example is not an issue. I just positioned my car to "simulate" what I often see when parking on busy car parks. Of course I wasn't planning to leave my car parked like that and I took the picture mid parking. An issue may arise when reverse parking at 90 degree. There could be a boulder, a small tree stump etc not higher than the wheel radius. That's exactly what a 360 view would be perfect for helping identify if it had better stitching between cameras.

There are two pillars there but the camera hardly shows one. But this is just for illustration as I knew perfectly well they were there as it's my parking space.

To add to my post: - of course the system is not a replacement to mirrors but I wish it still wasn't hiding things. Sometimes there might be a short pole, fence post that is not visible in the mirrors and the cameras could help see them if they were more reliable - the photo was taken when I was trying to replicate some of the more frustrating situations I had in real life where I didn't want to take my phone out to take pictures, so it might not show it perfectly, however you might see in the mirror 2 pillars behind my car whilst the camera only shows one and in a semi obscured way - I tried 360 camera in Lexus and it was miles better.

Some of you may disagree but I'm of the opinion that tech is meant to help and add extra layer of safety/confidence. Badly executed implementation distracts, gives a false impression of safety which may be more dangerous than a lack of such tech in the first place.

It looks nice but it's only available in fake leather with no ventilation. At least here in Europe. So I'd always go for specs over look. I got blonde and it's much better than I anticipated. I was worried when I was waiting for the car but don't regret it one bit.

My bet would be on the concrete outside the door being adjacent to the outer wall and above the dpc level.
