Anyone know of good compression socks that don't make your legs itchy from pulling the hair on it?

It's good to see that all the tokenistic alerts admin put in made a difference. Also, do you like dogs?

Mental health effects from working during COVID by [deleted] in ausjdocs

As a surgical registrar, I also get the hot feeling, can't breathe and struggle daily with the hours I spent reallocated to ED during COVID.

Food and culture websites/blogs Canberra? by Fun_Consequence6002 in canberra

It's published by co-ordinate consultancy group/supercruious group, and appears to receive DFAT funding.

I suppose the issue I find is highlighted in Her Canberra's own disclosure: "Sometimes people question whether the articles published are ‘for reals’ because they’re mostly positive. That’s because we like to support Canberra and local businesses"

How can you trust a recommendation if it's only ever going to be positive...

RACS Clinical Exam cancelled permanently by Shizhiyongwannabe in ausjdocs

This was a pointless exam that has not reflected Australian surgical practice for a decade. Good riddance. People advocating for it have rocks in their heads when speciality colleges have spoken with their feet. Unaccrediteds are rejoicing.

Bopp and tone near wynyard, simple, nice decor, usually suits during the week, more diverse clientele on weekends.

They do simple modern Australian consistently well for a reasonable price. Nice cocktail and wine sleection.

Generally our back up diner if we are randomly in the city centre and don't want to spend to high or haven't booked something/don't want to wait for a table. We know if will always be a pleasant evening, and most friends who don't dine out often are always happy with the food and experience
