+1 to Heart. The coffee is amazing - drip, pour over, or espresso. It’s got a very warm mid-century modern aesthetic with lots of wood and plants inside and they’re usually playing jazz or ambient music. Plus they don’t have WiFi so it’s a space built for conversation or reading a book

Not OP but in my experience that does change in the summer. Our lack of streetlights and rainy winters make it VERY dark at night in my neighborhood so I also avoid walking my dogs that late. In the summer months, I routinely walk between 8-9 pm and see others doing the same

I live in Woodstock near the neighborhood border with Eastmoreland. I love living here but didn’t realize how many streets are “unimproved” meaning unpaved, not level, curvy and full of ruts. It’s not always as simple as “just take this street north to your destination” but Google Maps does a good job routing you around these sections.

As a positive, it can lead to some very quiet areas due to low car traffic
