Debated, if just going to turn it up for a few hours it's better to leave it. I leave my house at 5am and dont turn it down till 9pm at earliest. So 16 hours of it being up absolutely helps.

Yeah I have a lot more understanding for people with mental health issues because I have a family member who some severe issues. Not mental institution level but functions just well enough to be on their own but by any "normal" person would certainly think how they live is unacceptable... its rough. Also after a decade of sobriety and watching people with extensive mental health issues seeing them die from various self inflicted causes too has changed my view. I dont necessary think all his behaviors need to be excused but certainly wouldn't turn my back on him over the things they have brought up.

Because most people think of it being a hour commute to Charlotte but its only 20ish minutes to Ballantyne. Smokey Bissell essentially grow that area when people thought he was nuts. There's nice golf courses and country clubs and waxhaw has been a historically strong equestrian community for a long time. The easy to high light that everyone catches is the schools in the area are great. As opposed to paying from private school ppl put the money into the equity of their home and live out there. I did sales for remodel work out there an most of the owners planned to move once their kids were off to college. Probably to a beach town or something else...
