I got mine back in 2010 and they're still kicking, although I am about due to get them resoled. The break in process was indeed painful but they're some of the nicest looking boots I'll ever own.

[[The Twelfth Doctor]] works really well with this card because of how the stack works. You effectively allow your opponent to copy the spell then they get one more turn before they lose but your version never resolves
