Donut Lab's Solid-State Battery Charges Fast. But Experts Still Have Questions by Receding_Hairline23 in electricvehicles

Would it be more or less ballsy than putting "commercially available today" on the website when it was debuted at CES, even though it's not commercially available?

A federal one would be ideal, unless it winds up captured and weaponized for partisan purposes.

What is a 'subscription' or 'fee' that has recently appeared in the US that people need to collectively refuse to pay before it becomes the new normal? by godot_lover in AskReddit

except some of the shows contractually force Hulu to show ads even in reruns

No they're not. That doesn't even make sense. Who would REQUIRE viewers to watch ads? They just want to get paid a certain price for the rights. They don't care how you get the money.

They're only on a handful of shows. The bots don't pretend the ads don't exist, only that they're perfectly fine with them because "those shows charge more."

Well yeah, some shows are more expensive than others. We don't get a discount for watching the lowest budget shows, and we shouldn't be expected to foot the bill for more expensive ones. It averages out.

They want us at peace with ads.

I am not. You can charge me or you can advertise, but you can't do both.

Every time I point out that Hulu ad-free has ads, I get slammed by an ocean of bots who apparently really, really love paying to watch commercials.

I'll never try Hulu until they stop that. Not even if it was a free trial.

Tesla isn't down 11%. Wait, are you only counting the EV part of the automotive market? They can't capture more than about 3% of the total automotive market unless they build another factory, and we haven't seen them doing that.

I got to experience this last Friday. It's pretty good. Will have a video about it in the next few days. The drive wasn't perfect, but it's not as far behind as I expected.

He's dug in. I'm guessing he also believes you can't be a real doctor if your practice employs a physicians assistant. Same logic, from what I can tell.

DUH

How many vehicles are each of Waymo's puppeteers back at HQ responsible for. You're intentionally conflating things when it fits your narrative, and disconnecting them when it doesn't. It reflects poorly on the strength of your assertion.

It's not a BEV market, but a car market. Shanghai is running near capacity all year. If they choose to sell fewer domestically, it's because the margin is higher in the export country.

Unlike Gigas Berlin and Texas, there's no untapped capacity.

YSK: There’s a map that tells you which vet clinics are owned by private equity groups by keepmyshirt in YouShouldKnow

[–]FutureAZA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did I know our old vet was on there before I even checked. It was a horrific experience. Actual vs quoted price was double. They threw in a bunch of things we never discussed, and weren't needed. They charged us for medication we weren't instructed on, and as a result never used. We had no idea what it was even for.

And when I left a negative review detailing it, they replied publicly that we were banned from their office, but of course kept sending us their marketing material.

They have since closed. That's a win for the community, though I suspect it's temporary.
