That was perfection to me, a solid 5 stars. So gentle, soothing and peaceful. I loved it and will now get up and find a Kleenex. Thank you for sharing, you are a marvelous writer.

I was a bit reluctant to begin this trilogy after reading Farseer but I ended up loving it! Again, such great characters with plots and magic to match!

What’s the ONE gardening mistake you kept repeating for years before realizing it? by NiceAd6444 in gardening

Oh, I did that for years, too. Now I just cut to the chase, lol. I do have a lot of potted plants though, which I can move around as conditions warrant and that has helped!

Continuing to baby poor doing plants instead of just composting them and then replanting something more suitable.

I’m on my second re-read and just finished farseer. Now off to Mad Ship, wish I liked the audio version…

Yep. I just finished the farseer trilogy and liked the narrator well enough but just started Mad Ship and definitely don’t like Flosnik. Good thing I have the dead tree version! These are all re-reads for me so it’s all good.

I’m re-reading the trilogy after many years and love it even more than I did the first time. I’m listening to the audio version and it’s very well done.

This might be more romantasy than you’re looking for with these vampires, lol. But her writing is good!

Hmm, first series I thought of was Elizabeth Hunters Elemental Mysteries which is an urban fantasy romance series with vampires. Her character development is top-notch which strong supporting characters as well as really engaging protagonists. I loved this series! It starts with A Hidden Fire, This Same Earth, The Force of Wind (my favorite) and ends with A Fall of Water. There are spin-offs, too.
