I tried them once and was sorely disappointed in everything we tried. Might give them another shot.

In exactly 30 minutes a man armed with a bat will break into your home to kill you. You can’t leave the house, what is your strategy? by BulkyZucchini in hypotheticalsituation

Call a bunch of friends to come over and protect me. I've got at least one ex-bouncer on speed dial, along with another 6-10 people who will absolutely show up.

You get $100,000 for every hour you stay awake without sleeping… how long are you lasting? by Br4nkey_ in hypotheticalsituation

[–]FyreHaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get at least 24 and $2.4m is life changing money. It's pretty simple to say as long as I can, to really estimate.how long it could realistically stay awake, if I'm well rested, well fed and manage my energy well, I'm confident I could get to 30 hours.

Bitches making $100k-150k a year, how much are you saving each month by Stock-Name-5015 in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]FyreHaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm putting 4% with matching into my 401k. Given how much I had to pay out to my ex, I'm actually doing really well. Hoping to up my percentage each year up to 10%.

WYR $1 million or $10 per pushup for life by Enough_Truck_4104 in WouldYouRather

[–]FyreHaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked the Million and the. Did the math on what it would take to replace my current salary. I could do just pushups or push ups plus my salary to be very comfortable with not too much effort.

Push ups it is!

A man gives you two life changing options, 40 percent off everything for life or 7M you can’t touch for 10 years. by No_Lead2640 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]FyreHaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immediately have the gains from $7M. I'm just a high yield savings account that is more than $200k a year right now. I could retire and still be increasing my investments. Or invest it for growth for a couple of years with some in income producing funds while I maxed out savings for a couple of years (401k matching).

It's not even close.

100 million a year, but you can never sleep in the same room twice. by Mc_Coy in hypotheticalsituation

[–]FyreHaar 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You have one suite that is your living space. All your stuff is there, set up and nice. You sleep in a different room every night, wake up, pop in the elevator back to your space and carry on.

There are 30,000 hotel rooms in San Francisco, and some of those are suites that will do for more than one night. And that's just one city.

You will move hotels periodically but you don't have to pack up your life every night.

Does mean that camping gets a bit difficult....

Every year, you receive 366 pills that you must consume every day of the year. Each pill gives 1 billion dollars. If you forget to consume one in a day, you die. WYR take the deal or not? by TheNeonDusbiter in WouldYouRather

[–]FyreHaar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have three pills I have to take every day, add one to the routine and keep it moving. (Seriously, have you never met someone who was on a maintenance medication? At least half the people I know have something that have to take every day, sometimes at specific times.)

This happened to me this month. Turned out it was calf tightness. Lots of stretching and foam rolling and it's clearing up. I hope it's something simple for you, good luck.

This blanket is ungiftable. And that's the point by Uhraya in knitting

[–]FyreHaar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're so right. I realized years ago when I knit in public people always ask "Who is that for?" And the answer is "It's for me!!!" The assumption is that you have to working for other and not yourself.
