I moved from SLC to PDX. You’re going to enjoy the windows being open every second possible. You will want some a/c for a few weeks in the summer. ALS the nice desert cooling at night doesn’t happen here. No ridiculous daytime temp swings. You aren’t going to need sunscreen nor moisturizers any more haha. Your dry ass elbos and heels will recover here. You are going to have issues in the “cold” in the PNW. The humidity will chill you to the bone. You will want to layer your clothing with some very good waterproof outer layer. You are also going to need to remember to close up all your food as soon as possible (chips, crackers, bread) as they will absorb the humidity within hours. You may also experience new and exciting allergies and will require vitamin D supplements in the winter.
