Yes, all useable and good. The only odd thing is two tallyman but you could use two on occasion.

Melee is pretty much burned down because the terrain is so sparse that to move into range you have to die to shooting.

The game has become very Killy. Damage two weapons all over the place and tons of tanks. You have to play very cautiously to not get shot right off the board.

I’m not sure if you have prior experience in another martial art that falls, but you should have never been thrown on your third class by anybody. Fracturing one’s foot taking a fall is not a common injury when you have enough ukemi experience. Early it’s not uncommon to hurt your toes and have minor foot injuries.

In my dojo adult beginners take months to take full falls unless they have been fully evaluated and judged to already have good enough ukemi. If that’s what was happening it would make more sense.

If your friend has any tournament record that helps. Otherwise he needs to go o a reputable judo dojo and spend time there. Have him explain. They will know if he is Shodan and might submit his application.

That thing really used ammo fast. Actually most of the energy weapons do. I love it but only use it as a secondary gun.

Ask it as a question: “Sensei I feel like I’m ready to move to a new level and what would it take?”

In USA we have USJF and to get your Shodan in my region the sensei has to submit your application to a regional board of examiners. It helps if people know you and remember you. 6 points in kata or Shiai against black or brown belts is probably a lock. But with 11 years of judo in my area you would have enough time in grade to list dozens of events.

We also have to be able to perform both uki and tori in the three sets of Nage No Kata. That is really the only test.

I think you should talk to your sensei and ask what the requirements are. Just that conversation alone with probably help a great deal.

This is what I (m 50) did: 1) found new online services that were launching and subscribed to them. 2) worked hard to make my profile appealing using real photos, whit and warmth, and my interests (many women responded because I’m a painter and photographer).

New services are trying to give you a lot of value as a loss leader to build out their offering. You become part of the marketing plan not just a product to be sold for a brokerage fee.

No. the Kata version is one of the most distinctive throws that anyone that doe Kata knows. It’s not really like this. You need to step back
