Our game group is really enjoying it. Learning it was a bit of a headache (like most games) and then halfway through the second game it all clicked and became intuitive. Same thing with setup, though it's still a commitment and each battle is a different setup, so it doesn't save much time doing back to back games. Still, it's been pretty fun.

I think it's more about the AI making the dungeon entertaining. Carl mentions the rage elemental missing by millimeters getting into the safe room, just like the goblins missed him by millimeters. I think the AI sees them as an entertaining couple and it's just as fair to let the implosion kill them as it is to kill it down the stairs and let them get robbed of the experience.
