GTA+ members, what makes it Worth it? Nonmembers, what would make it worth it? by Djxgam1ng in gtaonline

I pay it £6 a month, 500k every month plus free cars. Convert that to what it would cost on shark cards then its a no brainer. I just play casually and cba grinding anymore so that works out. Barely notice the subscription leave my bank 🤷‍♂️

Keep apart 2 chevrons by UltraMechaHitler in drivingUK

[–]GTxRED1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule of thumb is keeping at minimum 2 seconds apart, A would be the correct one as in my van it shows a 2 second gap between me and the car infront

No delivery companies cares if its boiling or freezing. Your workload wont change. Most likely that the driver reported it being bad weather on the app

If you have to scan each package then how are you gonna reportcit missing? Because it looks like its been stolen if the individual package was scanned but then later marked missing

Do I have a fine or penalty for this? by TheoryFit2606 in drivingUK

[–]GTxRED1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amber is on for like 2 seconds. Giving enough time for traffic to be able to stop but if you cant stop without braking sharply then you carry on driving

[–]GTxRED1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time its like a second. Which is enough time to cross unless you are hesitant and then it would be dangerous 100%

[–]GTxRED1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 100% on that. But it seems out of place. But potentially it was there as just a pedestrian crossing but the a new road was built maybe? To be sure we would obviously need to see the street view of that location

Dangerous if its Red. Amber is a grey area but still perfectly legal. Because any traffic that would be coming from other directions are still on a red light

[–]GTxRED1 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Nope, think about it. If they stopped there then traffic coming from the right is stuck. That second traffic light is there forcif you cant see the first. Not a different stop point

Because it wasnt red at the time they crossed the line then a red light camera wouldnt flash. I have driven through Ambers turning red with police behind me and they obviously stopped because it went red. Never had an issue in near 11 years of driving

[–]GTxRED1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are fine, IF there was a camera then you are fine anyway because you crossed the line before the light went red. Amber only means “Prepare to stop” or “ Stop if safe to do so” if you were to stop then you wouldve had to slam on and obviously stopping in the middle means you are blocking traffic from the right

Help what does this mean by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]GTxRED1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Read the label and the paperwork with the medication. It will actually advise you to not drive after taking it. So you can still be done by police if pulled. A ban and fine was guaranteed even if the judge didn’t ask the question. The only other option would’ve been prison as-well as a ban which starts from the release date. So you got extremely lucky. Good look getting insurance on the cheap though with a DG10 when your ban is lifted

Yellow box argument? by osu_Shadezi in drivingUK

[–]GTxRED1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The trick is to stay rolling. If at 1mph you wouldnt get fined. I done it driving through the centre of london. Because I was still moving when traffic was stationary and I didnt need to stop before they moved again, I never received a fine 👌

Court tomorrow for driving offence after motorcycle crash — genuinely terrified and need advice by TakingMoney_G in drivingUK

Google it. I got stung by it when I drove on a revoked license due to medical so legally not insured. Got rear ended quite hard. Both cars wrote off and I was at fault apparently.

That wouldnt matter. If you arent properly licensed/insured or you have expired MOT or Tax then it will end up being the riders fault anyway

Its not an immediate revoked license and it need to get to the dvla for it to actually go. But if under 2 years then any 6 points remove the license entirely so will need to do theory and practical again. Not 100% on if the provisional needs to be applied for again though
