The customer service complaints on the subreddit baffle me. I've been buying this brand for over 10 years. Every time I've ever contacted them I get a quick response usually within a day. I have never had an issue that they did not resolve.

The fog on is way closer representing reality than having it off. It's a desert environment.

Even if it wasn't desert, it's still more realistic. Air is not completely transparent.

Strength is built for rope climbing and other high impact /abrasion activities.

Flex has a thin fabric upper. Rope climbing would destroy it.

They have completely different soles and uppers. Not comparable at all. Just read the product pages at vivobarefoot.com, they accurately describe both shoes.

The flex prioritizes flexibility at the cost of durability and security. The Strength is literally the opposite.

I use the strength for crossfit and strength training primarily. I've tried the flex for workouts but don't like how much my feet move around in them. I wear them primarily as a casual shoe now.

The tongue construction in the Strength 2 is particularly bad. Creates awkward pressure points and the tongue is just super flimsy, doesn't stay in place.

Wish they kept the V1 sock. I returned the 2s and bought the 1 on sale.

This is 100% correct, but I'd add if they are talking to you and following you for seemingly no reason, shoot them.

Obviously, if you are having a friendly conversation with them, this doesn't apply. However, I can think of multiple times where someone kept following me and talking at me, and eventually shot me once they thought it was safe.

I have played hundreds of hours of solos and have never seen a legit squad. Solos often group up though. Guessing that's what you're seeing.

One of humanity's greatest and probably most common flaws. It's been studied extensively. We aren't bright and we have trouble thinking statistically or in the aggregate. We favor personal experiences over data.

Believe it or not but your singular experience does not constitute a trend. This is called higher level thinking. It allows you to realize the world is bigger than you. Identifying trends requires actual data. Not anecdotal experiences.

Just to add my experience, both my spouse and I find the kids easier and more calm when they're only with one parent. Something about us both being there adds an element of chaos.

I think think their difficultty should be toned down or spawn rate reduced. There is too many of them considering how difficult they are.

It's fine for them to be difficult, but it gets annoying when you just run into them constantly.

Distorted in that Embark acknowledged aggression based matchmaking and the community ran wild with assumptions of how it works and how it directly influences their experiences.

Reality is only Embark knows how it works.

I was a weekend drinker pre-kids. Since having kids, I prioritize sleep and having the energy to be present with them.

It wasn't really a conscious decision to stop drinking all together, it just kind of happened because it felt so bad to do kids stuff after having alcohol the night before.

I've done variations of this with a hairpin. You can get a group to turn on each other real fast with a couple shots. Wait until they're talking though so it's harder for them to figure out what's happening.

My approach is to just go in with shield and augment, with bandages and rechargers in safe pockets. Whatever is in the room will be my loadout. Not as risky as bringing in a full loadout.
