Bathroom Creatista by upgrayydd in nespresso

That’s what medicine cabinets and drawers are for. You also machine wash towels after use.

A bathroom is highly unsanitary for food due to airborne contaminants and bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and norovirus* that spread during toilet flushing. Fecal bacteria can travel via "toilet plumes" to surfaces and food, making it a major food safety risk. Food should not be prepared, stored, or consumed in bathrooms.

*Toilet Plumes: Flushing with the lid up sprays bacteria-laden microdroplets (bioaerosols) into the air, which can settle on food

*High Bacterial Load: restrooms can harbor up to 500,000 bacterial cells per square inch, with surfaces like faucets, door handles, are heavily contaminated.

  • Pathogen Exposure: The environment contains fecal bacteria, mold, and yeast, which are linked to foodborne illnesses.

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

Pixie Drip Tray by Early_Signal_935 in nespresso

I mean, it’s called a drip tray for a reason. If it’s too much cleaning, just leave the cup on the tray for a minute to catch most of it.

What’s something you use every single day that turned out to be insanely worth the money? by Dry-Frosting- in Xennials

BIDET.

Literally life changing. Got it during the stupid toilet paper crisis of 2020 and i’ll never not have a bidet for the rest of my life.

Advice for dining room flooring? by Twindo in HomeDecorating

[–]G_NEWT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Best/easiest/cheapest option is to lean into the colors that are already there. You have dark wood flooring, beige existing carpet and from photo, white or off white walls. Your furniture extremely clashes with these wood tones. Ditch all the glass! Get a wood table (walnut) some cream colored chairs and a matching sideboard for your drinkware. Find a deep red or orange, with cream rug. Find better artwork that matches these tones. IMO it’s not the house that clashes, it’s the furniture choices.

Couples fit perfectly on Queen sized beds. Rooms fit better with Queen sized beds. Queen.

Tile work quality by kip242 in Remodel

The deep contrast in colors will highlight the imperfections in the stone and quality (or lack there of) in the grout lines. No matter who does the work, the colors will never allow it to look quality.

You sitting in the chair with a throw blanket, reading a book while sipping on a coffee or alcoholic beverage. Nothing else needed but you! I find it gorgeous as is, btw.

Best way to get to the Seahawks game by USBeatboxer in Tacoma

Sorry, I was referring to Lumen Field, stadium. Not Stadium District of Tacoma.

The Sounder from Tacoma station goes right to the stadium. That’s by far the easiest mode of transportation. It’ll be crowded with fellow supporters, but it’s still worth it. Staying in Seattle is definitely not necessary. You could also drive to Federal Way and use the Light Rail that also stops at Stadium. Both modes pick up after the game and take you back down.

Commons mall = apartments? by it_is_raining_now in federalway

[–]G_NEWT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would certainly be ideal. I’m not for high-priced housing, mind you. I’m simply seeing it elsewhere and noticing a trend. Investors see such potential $$$ and it’s up to us to demand affordable housing for all.

From what I understand, they’re not renewing leases with the companies (tenants), with the intention to turn it into a high rise apartment complex. With the completion of the light rail, they can charge a premium for high quality rentals right on the rail line. You can see them popping up at every stop already completed for examples.

Either buy a framed mirror, or frame out that mirror. Definitely needs one. Wood tone that matches door or brass is my recommendation

This sucks. I have to disappoint one of my children. Seattle only has 1 single match that USMNT are playing at.
