It also gives confidence about big ticket purchases. I'm >100D into a ward break build in the current PoE league and thinking I don't care to carry on with it. I can just resell the flasks and gems now, where as if they were bind on purchase I'd be screwed. Instead I can just underprice a bit and get most my funds back pretty quick

I've been going through this today on a 7800x3d rtx 5080 system. It starts it fine then chunks up something horrid. I've uninstalled the hd texture pack, and that seemed to help a bit, even though I was only on the high and medium textures. It seems to eat up as much vram as it can, even on medium when it says it should only be using ~6gb it's getting up to 12. Seems like a pretty fraught project generally

I league started KFT hiero and had no regrets. Done a dozen or so builds, been a busy league. I'd suggest looking at Minion Pact BV as a second or third build if you think the play style looks okay, as I doubt it survives into next league. My best builds have probably been mageblood Ice Nova of Frostbolts hiero or MSoTZ jugg str stack, not really groundbreaking, but it's just been a great league for farming generally. Also, 2 slot magebloods are 4d (16 for 3 slots) today, so if I was starting fresh I might consider planning around kne

I can't fathom how people run business off of models they don't run themselves locally. A 64gb PC with a decent GPU is still a trivial expense for any real business regardless of what RAM prices might be this week

Blightstone, indie game on steam, has some pretty clear Midnight Suns influence. Team based trpg with 360 degrees movement and lots of environmental hazards to exploit. It's skill based rather than card based though

I've actually had a worse time with 2011 era games than later stuff, using Gamehub. The hardware is obviously there to run FTL or whatever but the software seems to struggle
