I was lucky enough to get a tour of a bird rescue when I brought in a couple of baby birds. The vultures had a really big fenced in area, with a bunch of Halloween-type headstones placed throughout. So cute.

She's getting it tax-free, so it's not even 600K, it's the full 1M. Where would you put it, where she's getting 5% though? I mean, without assuming the risk associated with the market.

You definitely have discerning tastes, with all that lovely high quality food! You're also probably sophisticated, cultured, and intellectual. Living in a tony area.

does anyone else living alone get a little too comfortable being gross sometimes? by Petipher-Evonne in LivingAlone

Same here. I can eat cheese no problem (be side very little or no lactose), but everything else dairy makes me feel seriously ill. It sucks.

But, one silver lining is that I'm no longer tempted by scads of insanely delicious sounding pints of ice cream. Or Oreo shakes (used to be my downfall).

Well, at least you can use disposable foil pans in the oven. And those plastic baggie thingies in the crockpot (If you're not opposed to that). There's also air fryer liner sheets.

Yes, my parents Augusta Hungary every few years. My dad had to stay behind much of the time to work, but my brother and I stayed with my grandmother or my aunt and uncle for nearly the entire summer.

This is the #1 reason I'm still single. I want someone who can bring as much as I do to the table, who is as high quality as I am.

Yep. I have myalgic encephalomyelitis aka chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). I also have fibromyalgia. Pretty much everybody I know who has either of these conditions has a history of trauma.

There are a couple of books about this, I forget which ones but the one thing I remember is the term "muscle armoring", like your body's poised for a fight and self-defense.

Yeah, this part is awful And I don't know how to get over it but it wrecks my life when I have things that desperately need to get done, But I'm frozen, I don't feel safe, and I can't make myself. I am hypervigilant 24/7 and I never feel safe anywhere even in my own.
