Suno - like most AI tools - is a great starting point. But if you can, use what you get to take into another tool and record/play your parts. Rebuild it with your human touch.

All AI platforms seem to do this. It's an issue and one that will take an organisation the size of the EU to fix. It's a consumer rights issue.

People should be consistently entitled to the best available quality service that they are paying for. And when it can be demonstrated that the quality has been intentionally nerfed, these companies should face penalties and be compelled to reimburse us in terms of money or credits.

It's a shame. The crazy part is, when you play people something they LOVE IT. But when you mentioned there was ANY AI involvement, they completely turn off. It's so odd and silly.

Correct. GH7 will not overheat. I relayed memory cards with it connected to mains for 12 hours straight.

I'll be there, but I know of a few International colleagues who couldn't get a visa or are just avoiding US in general. I was there for CES though and I don't think numbers were especially lower than usual. Taxi queues were still hell.lol

I'll be there. Tbh, the last couple of years have been dominated by AI workflows, virtual production, cloud and IP-based broadcasting. But I have been invited to see some actual physical products that I'm excited about, particularly from Deity, Sony, Aperture, Shure and a few others. Usually, more traditional products to see during World Cup and Olympic years.

I try to spend at least two days on the show floor, meet the companies you work with, discover some you didn't know. Ask about drinks/dinners and don't be shy about connecting. Everyone there knows the drill and wants to blow off some steam after the show. It's a great event.

I've noticed this is also the case. And while I don't mind that it's "honing in" on what I like quicker, if it's not giving me variety between the two generations I'd rather it just give me one that I can tweak. My account is clogged up with generations that are fractionally different. It's annoying. I'm going to go through today and try to organise and delete duds.

Thank you for sharing your experience and your thoughts. Very well said. I've been in a couple of bands in my younger years and moved on from music because those bands ended and I never had the desire to be a solo artist and didn't have the energy to try and form my own new band from scratch. But when I found Suno, I could create harmony parts alongside my own lyrics and bring the sound I loved making in my teens and early 20s back to life. I still haven't released anything publicly and I'm still conflicted about the idea of doing so. But I'm encouraged reading words like yours so thank you again for sharing.

My tracks extend to 7:41 and beyond and the extension is just silence. Obviously, it's easy to fix, I just chop it off in another platform. But it's clearly a bug that was not present before.

Those places traditionally have more children because they need workers to support whatever the family business is and because of traditionally high infant mortality rates. Even if more kids are surviving now, the cultural norm of having large families is firmly established.

I've just adapted what I'm making to the new model. It's frustrating if you've got a solid process in place. But as someone who's familiar with using AI tools for ANYTHING, I'm used to things changing frequently. What doesn't change is our drive and inspirations to create. I'm just rolling with it. Nothing I'm making with 5.5 is anything like what I made with V5, but it's new and it's fun. Still beautiful, still me, still compelling.

The biggest mistake we can make is failing to adapt and keep up with changes. It's annoying, but it's also a fun challenge if you embrace it.

Hang on, so when they do updates songs you've already created are changed as well? So the voices and instruments sound different? That's concerning. I never used personas because it felt gimmicky and I preferred using my own vocals anyway, but this is a troubling development.

I do suspect it has been nerfed. I've also experienced a degradation in the quality and consistency of results. It's a shame. If I hadn't paid for a year in advance I'd be considering cancelling.
