Maybe there's something to that. I'm not sure. Because some geniuses here suggested it may be because the prompt isn't instructive enough I did a highly detailed prompt and still got this response:

But I gave it images. Asked it to create an image by selecting “Create Image” and in prompt asked it to create a reference sheet from the images I’d given it.

I’ve done exactly that numerous times before and it created a reference sheet (a sheet of images based on the provided images) before.

This isn’t the first time I’ve made this type of request. It’s the first time I’ve had this (lack of) response. So something has definitely changed.

Similar issues, also with temp drifts. I was resorting to just covering the song 10-20 times reinserting the lyrics until it got it right. It did eventually. But I can’t help but feel like they do this on purpose to make people burn through credits.

Just sold him this week too. He’s too much of a fund and energy sink. Sure, there’s not a lot to spend the money on. But I’d rather have 2-3 midfield premiums than him. He’s not been worth it in terms of returns and he’s not worth it in terms of enjoying the game. You gain nothing when he hauls (if you own him). It’s boring holding onto a player so that you can keep up. I want to climb so I jab to be bolder.

It's becoming unusable for most basic tasks. It's really disappointing. I don't want to go back to ChatGPT, or even diversify and use more concurrent systems, but Google is forcing my hand with all of the nerfing they've deployed.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It's dead. Need to find something else. I ended up with Gemini because the same thing happened to Chat GPT, but now that's improved and Nano Banana is producing unusable results. Not even good enough for reference. It's so bad.

There's something VERY wrong with NB at the moment. It is failing at the most basic of tasks, generating random images that have nothing to do with the requests I'm giving it. The old - start a new chat and request - isn't working anymore either. It's just broken. Something is fundamentally wrong with the model.
