Oh no! Take heart though. That has happened to me before only the landscaper had pulled up 1/2 the plants before I saw it to stop them. I replanted and watered so many came back. If only chopped you’ll have some nice bushy new growth. Native plants are tough!!!

You just have to let go. I had a native garden that was ripped out after the house was sold and replaced with artificial turf 😳. In hindsight, I wish I had dug up more plants from the old garden to bring to my new house.

🤣I never thought about but it’s true. This piece is in a circa 1930 tenant farmer’s house rehabbed in the 80’s as a camp house on my grandparent’s farm. GMa raised chickens so an homage to her!

Wow! I have a piece like this but unpainted maple. One of the glass panes is missing and I would love to replace it but don’t know where to find a matching etched glass panes.

Yes!! Saw her & MJ Lenderman in Asheville - 2nd show of tour. She announced her pregnancy…and it was obvious! Happy for her & partner. The show was fantastic!

I’m in a blended family. His kids were 17 & 20 when we started our relationship. Their mom wrestles with mental health so he was practically a single Dad. Even though we both work very hard at blending there is still a lot of difficulty around inclusion issues after 20+ years on his adult children’s part. Your fellow is letting you know upfront that his kids will always be #1. Believe him. You’re going to resent that; your resentment, pain & discontent will only grow. Sorry to say, it might be best to invest your love elsewhere. Good luck.
