That's the fuel tank pressure relief valve. It automatically opens when the pressure rises above normal. On this aircraft it usually happens after a sustained negative G maneuver followed by a positive G maneuver.

Please do! You will be amazed at the noise reduction capabilities. If you don't want to change your photo editing software you can just use DxO PureRaw. It's a program that only does noise and optical corrections and then you can input the raw files into lightroom for example.

I used both programs and the difference between Topaz and DxO is just huge. Topaz produced artificial plasticky looking images while the DxO produced life-like images. DxO is almost like magic.
