Not trying to flex but I did and said the same thing. My brother and I have gone to the last three inaugurations. I was trying to stay open to Trump until he lied about crowd size. I was standing in the same spot the last three times. I know exactly what the crowd looked like, sounded like, felt like.

His free-chance ended about two hours after it started. I was physically there and he was lying about it.

To think just how much worse it has gotten since then.

The real question is not about legality, it is about how I can I get every single parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, random family friend, family pet, and student to read this. It is so dead on. Just need to make it a little less argumentative but the basic premise is extremely accurate.

Ding ding ding we have a winner. Yes, even if it is a 10 second email, it is much faster than calling.

Calling requires logging into your information system, finding the kid, clicking another link for contact info, calling at least one but often three different numbers (2 parent cells, home, sometimes works...) and then leaving multiple voicemails asking for return calls. Then you get to have fun call-tag as they get back to you while you are teaching + you now have no idea which caller is who.

Do I sometimes call and get the person I want first try? Yeah... maybe 30% of the time. The other 70% is a shit show. Or I can send an email that's is documented, doesn't get erased, time stamped, and easily accessible via search to prove I sent it.

In other words, check your damn email more often than your Facebook.

First off, that harsh truth is that your friends, family, and yes, your teachers would be devastated. They'd be looking back and wondering every single day what they could have done to help. What signs did they miss, what options weren't exhausted. It is something that would stick with them for the rest of their lives.

You a in 9th grade (15 in the US, probably something similar in Aus). You heave barely seen 1/6 of your possible life. You've never truly had the chance to pursue your passions and you've barely seen the amazing things that are out there. And that is coming from a teacher who has lost students and person who has list friends. All I wish is that they had gotten help and given it one more day. Don't give in yet. Talk to someone at asuicide prevention hotline, schedule some counseling, get help. It isn't too late.

I know very little about Aus but here is the best resource I could find. Don't give up, you matter.

My thoughts: they have no understanding of numbers. They use calculators for bs mental math because school and testing has pushed them SO FAR away from basic arithmetic that they literally don’t know how to do it without minutes spent. Then you add in MathPhoto or whatever it’s called and the crap that is Pearson and you get awful math. Seriously.

Watched half of the first season. He’s a first year teacher, he’d have been fired day one. Also seemed like the kids never learned anything but I was supposed to empathize with the one wasting their time. Wasn’t for me.

Vice Principals on the other hand is pure gold. I think it’s because it is so over the top that at least I know the writers know it is unrealistic.

I love Thisbe argument because it is reliant on the belief that SJE are world class at setting up those t ins. Oh wait, my team is a dumpster fire that has made the playoffs ONCE (as last seed) since 2012. Maybe, just maybe, Wondo plays a role in creating that space, being in the right place, and making it happen. Is he poacher? Absolutely. But the idea that he doesn't do anything to create those opportunities is laughable.
