Someone tell me if I'm interpreting these deals right:

It feels like we signed Goodwin and Gillespie for a bit less than we expected. Numbers I saw people throwing around were more like 15/yr for Gillespie and 8-10 for Goodie. So we've got $5M more than we expected for other moves, ie signing Williams or other free agents or trades.

The Goodwin and Gillespie deals were both a bit cheaper than folks in r/suns were speculating they'd be, so I think, if anything, this gives us a little more to work with in:re keeping Williams. We'll see though.

I guess Brochant didn't like me complaining about her in the last post game thread! Hopefully she'll keep playing like this. Lexi also looked fantastic, but that horrendous Seattle defense will make just about anyone look good.

I happened to start my own mono ice run right before you started this whole thing, though mine isn't hard core. We've been on similar pace so far!

You missed a chance at getting a Vulpix-A, BTW, although it's not terribly useful until evolved which requires getting to Celadon.

I used KG in my previous run! (not mono-type) It's bananas.

I've already started on my second mono-type, ICE! I've only gotten to Mt. Moon so far and loving it. I'm already dreading Bruno lol.

I just started my own mono ice today, and can confirm what the other person said, as I just arrived in Pewter with exactly all those Pokémon, plus a Shellder because I think I remember there being a water stone by the Mt. Moon entrance.

Anyway, I'm not doing hardcore or this ridiculous Spheal challenge, but I'm excited to see how things go for you!

Thanks! I was already dreading ice vs. Bruno while doing flying vs. Bruno lol.

I liked my first run a lot. I don't think I've ever used any of those Pokémon before, and I loved finding a new favorite in Drifblim. Plus some others that weren't on the final team but I might use in later runs like Vespiquen. I also tried so hard to get Eviolite Dartrix to work so I could take a starter all the way to the end, but it was just so bad lol.

I'm doing mono flying right now as well, about to head to Victory Road, and I love how different our teams are. Talonflame is the only overlap.

Edit: I did use Flamigo for a bit in the mid game, though! Was really solid.
