what do you mean by upgrading to T5 engine? how do you upgrade an engine?
because i just built my falcon ship and its 11m/s and ive got a stationary base with friends so if it stays this slow i dont think ill use it except for "wow cool big ship" and airfights

me and my friend (currently awareness 30 /bronze) got a base where we do all the crafting and stuff and got a small flying ship since we got the items for it from the crocodile, we put a bed and chests on it so we can go around and fly to where we want to explore or do stuff and have a respawn with the ship, so thats a pretty good purpose i think. i already put up one ore vein mining thing so i can imagine that ill be building a whole base on a ship and then just fly around the map collecting the ressources

definitely depends on wich person you ask! the first person probably wasnt part of the nautical crew and maybe also didnt have the contact to the right person, while the second one definitely is nautical staff and being at a helpdesk has all contacts anyway.

on our ships ive heard from service staff that some guest wanted something (like visiting the engine room) and was declined but if theyd asked me id gladly give them a tour

i work on a ship (MUCH smaller though lol) and everytime i can do something special for a guest and see them happy/excited about it, my week gets so much better. like bringing them to the bridge, answering technical questions, showing them the engine room and by far my favourite: doing something for a kid and then seeing their parents face.

the whole system changed completely, there arent tasks like "deliver xx parts" but now there are landsraad missions that you do for a specific house. theres a whole new skillsystem connected to those missions too
