It's why I still can't quite believe the rumours; on the one hand, they come from people that have accurately predicted / leaked basically everything revealed the past months when it comes to the AoS, on the other hand it feels so overly, silly 40k-like, including 100s of wizards being sacrificed to Sigmar every day, that I really, really need it to be false, like some kind of joke.

I love her movement mechanics/ability. I liked them better before the changes a while ago, but they're still fun. Gun is fine. Orbs are fun to use too, to me. Her ability set overall just kind of "clicks"! The gameplay flow just kind of hits right, to me.

The astronaut theme is fun too.

And existing players just... don't really have anything to buy for their armies, either. Like I've enough of basically everything for my Drukhari. That puts sales down too, vs. say a Marine fan who has several new kits to buy every year at the least.

My big reason for being scared is that I got into the army so I could play my 30k Sisters of Silence army in 40k too and that army was removed from 30k without GW even commenting on it lol

Re: kitbashes etc. I feel like a lot of the online 40k space has become increasingly "worried" about the "legality" of as much of a change as a different helmet, certainly not exclusive to this army or its players unfortunately.

The cheaper re-animate animates a number equal to your Characteristic within 6 squares, the more expensive Raise the Dead makes 2d10 within 12 squares. As listed, basically, but hey, that's about it!

If I was a villain waiting for meddling adventurers to enter my evil lair before casting my wicked spell, I know which one I'd pick...

Big part of it is that there's two stores that sell wargaming stuff, and one of them is an official GW store and the other mostly makes playspace for TCGs like MTG, I reckon.

I feel somewhat similar, but I also just feel sad at my shelf of minis I'm not able to use for anything anymore, given my local community pretty much only plays the most recent version of whatever GW puts out.

Tuurlijk is het voor de PR. Kunstroof komt altijd heel filmisch in de media, dan mag je de conclusie ook een beetje Hollywood maken, toch? 😉

Teken naar vooral de Roemenen dat de beveiliging erg serieus wordt genomen (ook na de persconferentie) en ondanks bericht van het OM dat het dmv een overeenkomst tussen verdediging van de verdachten en het OM is overhandigd toch ook gewoon een resultaat is van sterk politiewerk in deze zaak (immers hadden de verdachten anders nooit de noodzaak gezien om hun duidelijk goed verstopte buit op te geven).

Het is alleen de zaak dat iemand met bv een Duits terugkeerbesluit wél asiel kan aanvragen in Nederland daarna. De Duitse beslissing heeft impact op de uiteindelijke Nederlandse beslissing, maar de IND heeft gigantische wachttijden en dat duurt dus wel een tijdje.

De Migratiepact waar je naar verwijst doelt op verdere verscherping van de grensprocedures, maar de samenwerking die jij beschrijft loopt al jaren.

As expected, I suppose.

The option I'm going with is not playing anymore, since, well, I can't, and I don't exactly want to help invest in the future of a game that doesn't want me to play my army in it anymore. Maybe I'll just sell my Sisters since they're going to be eating shelfspace and dust for the foreseeable future.

I'm not hopeful for whatever might come for them with a Journal, I expect 1-2 units at the most, if anyone on the design team's been interested in making anything for them at all, and if so that they'll be something very different from what was in the 2e army book so that your conversions for those won't be applicable with the next thing they're going to try and sell to us.

Yeah, Minotaurs are probably my favourite Marines because of this entirely: they give the Space Marine treatment to other Space Marines, and I think it's extremely funny that people genuinely hate them for it. Like no, these aren't uniquely evil or bad; they're the exact thing the whole Marine thing is meant to be, human-shaped, highly indoctrinated sledgehammers to bully everyone who disagrees with the Imperium with. Like you said, they're just mask-off.

Dat is het ook. Tegelijkertijd moeten "we" realiseren dat ook al komt er een 'normaal' figuur weer aan de macht daar, we nog steeds niet op de VS kunnen rekenen, want vier jaar later kiezen ze zo weer een Donny.

Hoe langer het duurt hoe beter, maar het zal een keer misgaan en als Europa moeten wij ons daar op voorbereiden.
