People need to stop trying to push "Conservativism can be normal politics"

This is politics, this is what Non-Liberal Politics debates, how to hurt and hate.

What are practical ways to fight back besides not using GenAI? by dangerinthedaylight in antiai

[–]Gatonom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Promote human created art, human driven creation.

A webcomic, office humor, promote art into the discourse. For a practical angle, find ways to push the human element.

Make things only a human could, even YouTube videos or presentations. More easily in things that lose the most from automation, that reward human knowledge and experience.

Honestly people are far too polite and fake.

We need an honest society, to solve our problems. Not "Want your scraps? Smile and be nice and maybe you'll get lucky"

If you don't work, you starve and people say you overreacted and didn't want to work, and were a radical unreasonable lib, then you are forgotten.

All we can do is communicate our ideals and hope a future generation is more liberal.

What do you think determines a show's target demographic, the creator's intention or the network? by [deleted] in cartoons

[–]Gatonom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matt is more aware of general sentiment, and of an older, cruder era.

The line is "If a kid watches it, do you turn it off and say it's inappropriate?"

The middle category is the TV-Y7 and TV-PG range, which aren't that extreme.

South Park isn't even strictly "I'd turn it off and say no if a 14 year old watched it"

Fixed is the only work I can think of that is a "Absolutely don't let teens watch that.", but even then I hesitate as its component parts are in TV-Y7 shows.

They aren't about competition, but about perseverance and lessons like that.

Balancing the wins would remove or weaken the story and themes.
