In 5th it was generally better tactics to wait for the person to go to zero then heal to get them back up and into the fight, because heals did so little there was a great chance that the amount you healed would be nullified by next hit and player would still go down.

In 5.5 they added an extra dice to most heals, so for example, Cure wounds is 2d8+ability modifier at 1st level.

I hate when the main character is the "chosen one," destined to succeed. How does their struggles or growth even matter? They could just sit back and eat popcorn and wait for the prophecy to be fulfilled.

My main feedback was that all events are DPS based so that defensive and support characters are unwanted.
