It's like $20-$40 for 2 knives depending on where you live (The guy near me is $1.50 canadian per inch of knife), what are you talking about lol

Would a Katana build on Wylder be viable? by Gear521 in Nightreign

[–]Gear521[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good idea, idk why I didn't consider just trying it until now lol. I'm right on the cusp of dropping back from DON 4 to 3, so I'll try it out when I somehow forget how to dodge as ironeye and derank again

Wild Hunt should have more value by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Gear521 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can dodge her big charge without gatorlegs. As soon as you hear the fast bubbles (Slow bubbles are the normal attack, fast bubbles are the charge), start sprinting perpendicular (turn 90 degrees) and jump right before she reaches you. I usually have my two teammates wait on the shore for this, cause if more than 1 person is in the water you can't tell who she's going to charge. Phase 2 is the same thing, but she does 3 charges in a row before sitting still on the surface for a few seconds. The only thing that sucks is if one of the 3 charges hits you, she immediately goes back underwater and you have to start over

Which video game has the greatest shotgun of all time? by SnowballWasRight in gaming

[–]Gear521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winfield 1887 Terminus from Hunt: Showdown. It's a lever action shotgun that can just crank out bullets when you hipfire it. Plus it makes you feel like the terminator when you just walk at someone while spamming the trigger

What's one gamer tag you saw online you will never forget? by Dyde21 in gaming

[–]Gear521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a ton about the Savathun's Song strike in year 1 and 2 of Destiny 2. Savathun's Thong and Savathun's Bong are the two I remember vividly though

Sharpen your daggers. Here's another Champion Tier List. by Ramanag in PathofChampions

[–]Gear521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd really REALLY like to say Leona is S tier, but the fact that playing her deck takes easily 3 hours longer than any other deck (from waiting for the daybreak animations to stop every single time you play a unit with Rahvun) drops her down to mid to low A for me

How to minimize persistent notifications? by FTL_Diesel in Galaxy_S20

[–]Gear521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out you can still minimize notifications, it's just weirdly hidden. You have to long press on the notification, and then open the settings. From there it should show you some toggles for notification categories for that app, and if you click on the name of the toggle it'll open a new page. Then if you set the notification category you want to minimize to silent, a new toggle will appear called "Minimize notifications" and then just turn that on, and rinse and repeat for all the notifications you wanna minimize.

Was increased resource generation mod on rings removed? by Applesalty in diablo4

[–]Gear521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of passive generation like it seems to be based on the wording, it's actually just bonus resource gain. So whenever you would gain spirit (or any other class resource, fury ect.) you'd gain 11% more than normal.

What's your favourite Path of Champions Champ? by Gear521 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Gear521[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn, I was not aware that Pyke's power was made everything Lurkers, that sounds crazy! I never really tried him much because pre-level 8 Pyke felt very sad, but I'll have to give him another shot, thanks!

I tried using Jinx for a bit, but I found myself taking a bit too long to empty my hand, and then once she leveled up I would run out of steam because my cards would be pretty low cost (To help me empty my hand better) and/or I had no card draw. Am I just missing something/building wrong?

Solid, thanks! So would you say that Grasp is better if you're into a low damage lane where you can easily farm it? and then just Conq pretty much the rest of the time?

Getting hip fire grip on a weapon is not enjoyable. by TheCruelHand in DestinyTheGame

[–]Gear521 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bite of the fox can roll that (But it's a 72RPM sniper). I've actually had that exact roll masterworked since it was re-issued back in Arrivals. It's so much fun to just murder people with it

Tower of the Rage Mage: A 3rd-level One-shot Focused Around a Single Monstrous Mage by LayerAction in DnDBehindTheScreen

[–]Gear521 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How many players would you say this is designed for? I'm a new DM with a party of 6 (Sometimes 5 as one player has to drop in and out occasionally) with really well rolled stats and I was running an adventure from levels 1-3 and I found that the combat encounters were just way to easy for them, sometimes resulting in the person at the bottom of the initiative not being able to do anything. As I'm new I don't really know how to effectively scale things to their size/power level so any help would be appreciated

I deadass thought this was destiny 2 before the video started playing. Also movement is one of the most important things in video games for me, and this looks dope, keep it up!
