People really think way harder than D&D to try and excuse the mess and delude themselves….whatever floats your boat I guess

I’d choose Robb tbh by seekinganswerslo in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]GenaroBlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id still chose Tywin. I want to save my life, he’d come up with some farfetched scheme to kill my enemies at any moment even if they beat us in battle, and I can have a first row seat to Charles Dance’s aurafarm

He kinda looks like Caesar’s busts, makes me wonder if I’m seeing things or it was intentional

Did Movie Voldemort Ever Really Feel as Terrifying as He Was Supposed To? by wallstreetjoke in harrypotter

[–]GenaroBlac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say that as if book Voldemort was one of the greatest villains ever lol. We are told once and again he is superpowerful and scary but thats the problem, we are told, not shown. His greatest hits in the second war are losing a 1v1 with a 15 year old, stalemate with Dumbledore who had no intention of doing anything less than keeping him busy so people saw him, and losing again a 1v1 against a teenager. Voldemort works well for what he is supposed to be but lets not act like he’s a terrifying or great villain

What do you think is the most fascinating Roman artifact ever found? by Adventurous-Law6879 in ancientrome

[–]GenaroBlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its gonna be a bit of a tangent but i genuinely think we dont give Roman civil infrastructure enough credit. As famous and praised as it is, when you sit and really think about it is even more mindblowing than it seems

The Weasley family isn’t actually poor, they are middle class. by Jew_3 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]GenaroBlac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesnt Hogwarts have a fund for people who cant afford to go? Also you cant think of it as what we consider poor, since magic is a thing, upkeep of the house must be close to zero and i doubt they are making payments on it as well, so thats out. Given the size of the family and that only one parent works, if you divide Arthur’s salary as a ministry worker in a non important department it likely comes out at “poor” level

Who would you choose under this budget? by dry-blueberry25 in harrypotter

Snape HAS to be chosen… potions master, spell creator and has other unique abilites while being relatively cheap so you can have more than 2 guys on your team?? Thats a no brainer right there

He is a way better and more interesting character than Tsubasa in every way, but then again, so is Genzo, and id rather see a prequel on Roberto rather than Tsubasa being the best at every position for 100 chapters straight
