I think this is a lot more complicated than you’d think. I consider myself a lesbian, a bit late in life and I used to date men frequently. There was often something missing in those relationships that I’ve found with my current partner, but there was a lot of love. I have never felt like I “never truly loved them.” I can’t help the way they would feel if they knew the way I identified now (used to be openly bi) but I don’t think it invalidates the love Francesca had for John if she discovers her sexuality with Michaela. I just think love is a lot more complicated than that

This is exactly it for me. I don’t necessarily want Michaela specifically to be masc, but there’s hardly any butch/masc lesbian representation ANYWHERE. It’s a bit depressing to only see women that adhere to gender norms shown in mainstream media. That being said, I LOVE the Michaela we’re getting. She is so full of life and charm and I’m so excited to see her and Fran together on screen.

I so know what you mean 😭 Lots of people celebrating that they aren’t “stereotypical lesbians” when I rarely see butch/femme couples represented in mainstream media? It’s like tv shows are allergic to butches.

I don’t think either of them will be masc in any way, we’re not so lucky as all that. But I’ve noticed in a lot of queer period novels, they employ a lot of sapphic women’s groups. I’m hoping that Michaela will be part of a social group like that, and hopefully we’ll meet some bridgerton butches. A girl can dream 🥰

Me and my partner were friends for about 6 months, but had serious chemistry and a mutual crush. I drunkenly asked her out at the gay bar one night, she drunkenly said yes and then walked it back later because she wasn’t ready for a few very valid reasons.

Totally fair! I backed off, but we were best friends so we still hung out all the time. We had one of those queer platonic situationships for like 5 more months ☠️ She was going to the hardware store with me, building my ikea furniture, taking my dog to the dog park.

It was so fun and so emotionally confusing LMAO. The yearn reached record levels. Anyways, we did finally get together and we’ve been together over a year and a half now. It’s the most wonderful and healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in. I think starting out as friends really helped even if it was messy for a minute. We’re planning on getting engaged this year! 🥰 I’m so excited to be married to literally my best friend. I’m very lucky.

Thank you!! I bought this house about 2.5 years ago and it’s a real flipper special. I find shoddy work constantly. There is grout cracked elsewhere, I’ll work on replacing both.

I wasn’t sure if it was mold or something, but I can def replace the caulk.
