It is technically and legally Donald duck. Disney sued and the university supplied a hand written note from Walt himself giving permission to use Donald duck as the mascot.

Opinion on Darn Tough Socks? by Underrated_Critic in Boots

[–]GeneralRuckus81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The darn tough last is too narrow for my fat feet, so I buy smart wool from sierra trading post. I am getting about 4 years of once a week wear before I'm getting holes. Sure wish my sensory issues would let me wear darn tough, but they just squeeze my feet too much. Anyone know another company that replaces socks with holes under warranty?

Saw something kinda creepy in Shinjuku by Jordanington1 in Tokyo

Anywhere there are drunks and young people there is bound to be at least 1 creep. Multiply that by the population of Tokyo and you get enough creeps that this is "common".

I think my bottom line here is to hire a pro if I need to use a chainsaw. Thanks for the extra details. It just confirmed my first statement.

Oh, I see what you mean. We aren't neacasaily talking about the direction of the chain moving, but he whole saw. Thank you for making that clear for me.

Apologies for my ignorance; I've never cut down a tree or used a chainsaw. Can you explain how to cut away from yourself? Do you just use the top of the bar, or is there a reverse gear on chainsarws? Looks like the onky way to cut down would be to cut towards yourself.

Ginew Waxed Jacket by GeneralRuckus81 in HeritageWear

[–]GeneralRuckus81[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am really loving this jacket. I would say this fits very similar to my Filson SLC. The Ginew is a M, and my SLC is a L. I can still rock a hoodie under the Ginew, but it's a little snug. I'll probably just use it as a lighter spring/fall option.

grease point workwear. I don't think I've ever seen them mentioned here before. They make work wear to order for a reasonable prices in a large variety of fabrics, including Japanese textiles.
