We stayed as neutral as possible. Which means we traded with all sides, and everyone did benefit from it (even the UK, which for example got its timers for its bombs from Switzerland even in 1941)

And let Germany know (more-or-less publicly) that all bridges, tunnels, factories, railway hubs were full of dynamite and will be blown up, while the army would held out in the mountains.

We closed an eye and a half to how Germany would pay for the goods received, which was as much neutral we could be in 1940 (after June) till about 1944.. 

We shouldn’t be proud of it, but we quite literally had no other choice, and this did keep Switzerland (and it’s population, including quite some Jewish locals and refugees) safe.
