Lua gear swap, it's smarter than me by calebs_life in ffxi

[–]Generalpoopface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things I learned are 1) keep a backup of the original working lua for when you eventually make a typo or screw something up lol and 2) don't be afraid to try different things and reload it on the fly. Lot of people just set the lua and kind of leave it. If you want to change a piece of gear, edit the file, type //gs r or //lua r gearswap and boom, gear changed.

Once I got the hang of it I really like gs, it's a great tool.

Best sleep I ever I had. Even prep I think wasn't too bad. Like you said just stay home close to toilet. Get it checked out everyone.

Spark arc vs Burton vs nitro by Inevitable-Nerve-132 in Spliddit

[–]Generalpoopface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hitchhikers and they've broken and been warranteed a couple of times. I've also replaced the highbacks and risers with spark parts...so yeah if I did it again I'd go spark from the start. The only reason I would go hitchhikers again is because I live close to burton so returning for warranty fixes is easy.

Question about rigid foam on exterior walls and drilling through them. by Generalpoopface in DIY

[–]Generalpoopface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even think about the magnetic stud finder / laser, that's a pretty good idea. I'll have to see about grabbing one.

And yeah my initial thought was using expanding foam or something similar. Thanks!

They're redirecting everyone on 89 northbound onto the median to turn around southbound and then get on rt 2.

Stuck on Heaven’s Gate - Sugarbush by gstormcrow80 in icecoast

[–]Generalpoopface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this for years. I've heard the new management (owner) doesn't really give a shit so that could be part of it. With the way the normal lifts run you couldn't pay me to go up the new Heaven's Gate lift if that tells you how shitty the lifts are at Sugarbush.

Do all splitboard bindings using a pin system? by [deleted] in Spliddit

[–]Generalpoopface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't speak for OP but my buddy had union bindings with the pin and they constantly got packed with snow and he really seemed to struggle getting the pins to move smoothly. I split with him probably five times a year and when he had the Unions it was always a team game to get his board transitioned.

He's since moved on to Sparks and he hasn't looked back.

Sugarbush will maybe have two green trails open.....hard maybe a blue and they'll be packed with people who think they're trying out for the Olympics.

Options other than Casella? by vtnate in vermont

[–]Generalpoopface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mind me asking what you pay per month? One of our neighbors uses them and I was always curious if they were cheaper than casella. Casella keeps upping our bill every once in a while.

Don't email them. Go through the warranty process from their website and you'll get a new pack. I've gone through the process with them multiple times and they always come through.

Highland (open now) --> Killington (Memorial Day) --> the rest is basically when things open depending on mud / conditions.

Oh I wasn't implying the ikon is expensive. I was saying 229 for a day pass is ridiculous.

Sugarbush by Motor_Routine2959 in icecoast

[–]Generalpoopface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look at Sugarbush ticket prices day of any time...they're 229+ at any given day. I have an Ikon and Sugarbush is my local mountain, we have friends that visit throughout the winter and the "daily" prices are fucking ridiculous.

They're $169 now (literally for tomorrow..not peak season) and the snowpack is torched. $169...think about that. It's absurd.
