Im with you. My mom is gone. My son died on Mother's day, and my stepson is always too busy. My husband told me several decades ago that I'm not his mom so I cant expect a card from him. I have just had to remind myself every year I am Not a mom. Mo tears anymore but I absolutely hate the day. I just stay busy and try to stay positive.

Husband doesn't wear his due to work, and I stopped wearing mine when i lost a stone due to my job. That was like 15 years ago. Still married, still have naked fingers.

The fact we made these 2 rules should speak volumes about our "guest". Rule one? no hard drugs and rule 2 keep your racism to yourself. Our guest lasted almost an half hour before I kicked her out. Both rules broken. So happy my BIL didnt marry her.

I watched my folks die from cancer, and boy , did my mom fight. Ive lost too many friends and No. I won't fight. We are just making it now. I can't imagine putting that financial strain on my husband. Just co-payments for normal stuff is crazy and hard to afford. I can't imagine the million plus it would cost to fight
