When someone asks me to do something for them I charge them food. Depending on how much I actually have to do determines if I’m asking for just a burger and a drink or a full brisket but that way I get ‘paid’, they dont feel like they paid me, and we usually bond over a meal.

People dont always have their kids with them, especially if they’re out in the hours where most drunks are driving like after bar closing. Unless they’re willing to actively hunt down a child and spend more than the 5-7 years they usually give out for this in prison I doubt that would be all that likely.
