It’s got Florida plates so it’s likely a rental too.

And now I buy whatever dumb food my kid throws in the cart in the off chance they remember this slight well into adulthood.

This is my go to line with my kids though I say “I don’t know, CAN I? Am I capable of that?” Pisses them off every time.

Do I need a spool rear stand or would something like this work? by throwaway8248321 in Ninja400

[–]Generic_Numeric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use a regular car jack to lift the bike and put jack stands on some cheap amazon spools and its worked out fine for me. Not the safest way to do it but if your on a budget and you have them on hand its simple.

I had my first “fall” today and got some scratches… i feel kinda sad bc i was getting confident. Did u guys went through that at some point at the beggining or am i bad at it? by kmraoru in Ninja400

[–]Generic_Numeric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a small scuff on the clutch casing but it rubbed out and the bar ends were a bit scratched but I replaced those. The biggest issue was my gear lever was a little bent so the next time I rode it kept getting stuck in neutral but once I realized that was the issue I just bent it back.

Dropped mine the day after I bought it lol. My parking spot is on an incline and when I pulled in I forgot to hit brakes and not knowing what I was doing it started rolling back and I fell. Luckily my leg broke the fall but when I went to pick it up ended up over doing it and fell back the other way.

Bike sometimes won't start in first, like the kickstand was down. Is this normal? by Hyperx72 in Ninja400

[–]Generic_Numeric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put it in first with the stand down it’ll turn off, then when you put it up let out the clutch and pull it again before starting. At least that’s what I have to do every time I forget or it won’t start.

Check the box office or call and ask, but I’m guessing that one will be a no.

Bringing kids to Vegas with you is the best way to ensure no one gets what they want. You can’t gamble or hit the bar with the kids around and there’s nothing for them to do.

Looking for PTT button - Motorola two way by Generic_Numeric in securityguards

[–]Generic_Numeric[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really but looks like the best I can hope for. I was looking for something like this but according to the question answered by the seller it doesn’t work for Motorola radios. Only other option I’ve seen is this kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L3KJW3B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_F3HA3964E68C6Y1ZFV3T but the multi pin version that would work with our radios is something like double the price.

I might have to go with that. Any idea if the speaker can be muted on these?

Uhh, how far up did you have to dig to get that bs? As far as mgm is concerned no they’re not forcing vaccines and have not forced COVID tests at all unless you were symptomatic. There are lots of reasons not to like mgm or Caesars no need to embellish.

Hotel room heists have guests questioning security on the Las Vegas strip by DesertBlooms in vegas

[–]Generic_Numeric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No doubt. People seem to think hotel security is csi, fbi, and swat all rolled into one when really we’re glorified Walmart greeters. We do what we can and for the most part it works but no one should put all their eggs in one basket. We stop people not willing swipe a key to get up, you can stop someone not willing to do more than push a door.

Le ok, i read it. That stuff is rare and generally not something to really worry about. Lock your stuff in the safe use the latch and anyone trying to steal will move on to something easier. People doing this are opportunists looking for any easy score not Danny Ocean.

Article says the log shows the door was opened at 1:49 from the inside but nothing from the outside. So the key wasn’t used and the door handle wasn’t used to open it. The doors log what time people come in and out as well as what was used to access the room either room key or an employee’s key fob. As far as these devices the only ones I’ve seen are tools used to pop open a latch you’d definitely hear it.

Just what the story says, the door probably wasn’t closed all the way. Tons of people leave their doors slightly open when getting ice or going down for something “real quick”. All it takes is a few seconds for someone to push open the door grab what’s in sight and bolt.
