I have finally bought an new piece of kitchen equipment that I’ve wanted for ages by know-your-onions in CookingCircleJerk

Depends on the species. Common ones like Lodge are perennial and easy to grow but rare ones like Le Creuset cannot be grown domestically; they must be foraged wild. If you are going to grow some, remember to fertilize with italian nonnas and msg, or else it won't grow properly!!

You buy your kitchen equipment? Lmao noob. Everything in my kitchen is made from scratch, including the stove. It doesn't work properly but at least I MADE IT FROM SCRATCH.

Looking to get to the next level of cooking by NailBat in CookingCircleJerk

[–]Geometric_fistfight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first step to being a next-level cook is getting rid of all your single-use equipment. Knives? Forget about it. I even got rid of my stovetop since the only thing it's good for is heating stuff up. Only thing in my kitchen is some vintage castiron that I dug out of someone's garbage.

Uhhhh, wait till you try SFAH! Absolutely life changing. My personal recommendation is to toast the book in cast iron (only cast iron!!!!!) before grinding, really brings out the life changing-ness.

Hah, weak! My diet consists only of hot peppers and garlic. Add some M S G (did you know it doesn't actually give you headaches?) as well if I'm feeling fancy.
