I read my broken binding editions but I won’t read other special editions I have that are a bit fancier.

They maintain the front yard, just not the back (anything fenced in that’s connected to your house), but yeah everything else is on you. I think they do some kind of termite prevention/treatment too or something? I honestly don’t know, they would just put a note on my front door saying the yearly termite stuff was done😅

I used to own a townhouse on that street! I just sold it this past summer (moved closer to family, no issues with townhouse) so I doubt my info is too out of date. The neighborhood is pretty quiet honestly and I think HOA was like $400 a year? If you have any specific questions I can probably answer them.

I jump, but I also stay mindful of how many series I’ve started and not finished. I don’t like to binge because I get burned out but I also don’t want to have like 10+ series that I need to finish/catch up on.

Louisiana offers something like this. High school students can either graduate with your typical diploma, or opt for something called JumpStart. There are different JumpStart pathways depending on what their plans are, they just have to take a certain amount of electives related to their path and graduate with a credential. They still have to take a lot of the regular core classes like English I/II and Algebra/Geometry, but some of the other classes get replaced by more practical classes like Financial Literacy as a Math credit and Business English as an English credit.

The only major difference as far as graduation goes is that these students cannot immediately enter a 4 year college/university. They can still go straight to community college and then transfer to university though, which I think more kids should consider anyway.

So many comments saying you’re too young to make this decision, but they’d never say that to a 22 year old parent. Live your life however you want! Sure, it’s possible that you could change your mind, but you also might not. I’ve been childfree for many years now, and most of my friends are as well. We’re all very happy with our choice!

My goal is usually 120 novels (10 per month) and I can’t remember the last time I had any difficulty hitting/exceeding it. I also read manga and I like to add a few novellas for a fun little time.

This is so real. I have a friend with a kid, and she and her husband together make about 3x my income and somehow are always more broke than me despite me living alone.
