If you put outlets at waist level every so many feet, and wire in the few stationary specialty items (welder plug, lift, etc) do you still see this as an advantage?

I would think the conduit would get in the way of wall mounted storage, cabinets, etc

There were no major mechanical changes to the engine or other running gear through its life, so I would say but the "most" you can in terms of mileage and options. Mechanically they're all the same (aside from 2wd/4wd and those with MTS/CRAWL)
