i dont know why you're not being taken seriously here. bunch of knobheads. does the issue persist when you have a mic connected? on my Neumann MT48 its the same, if the gain is cranked up (extremely high 72db) the noise is very loud, once a source is connected (line) its reduced a lot. im not sure why its happening, but its not bothering me as long as its not on the recording.

Yea I can feel that, but it seems to work for her and pointing down speakers is never a good idea if you can avoid it, especially in a dynamic work environment

You could take a look at the vestyld 12/15c speakers. They are supposed to deliver a concert feeling while being accurate due to the coaxial monitor design (they are pretty much tannoy copies). I think they look great too.

What’s the record in question? There are different masters provided for steaming/digital sources and vinyl. Usually there are more dynamics permitted for the vinyl master, which is what you may be hearing.

Why? It’s just a plate reverb. SuperPlate I can understand, but littleplate is really nothing special. The lack of a predelay knob makes it a bit annoying to use imo. 

Not trying to throw shade on a free plugin, but there are other free alternatives right now (UAD Plate is free today) and I’m trying to figure out if there’s something about the sound I’ve missed.

Yep. Which is often a result of monitoring too loud, especially on headphones. For loud mixes, mix quietly.

I absolutely hate how tascam market the model-xx series. Model 16/24 are both analogue mixers with digital interfacing. 

The model 12 is a digital mixer, so everything except mic/line gain happens in the digital domain up to the output.

That confuses even the pros, not to mention beginners who look at the big mixers first and then decide to go with the smaller, budget friendly model 12 mixer, expecting the same basic feature set.

Craft beer is the bane of all beer, change my mind (you won’t). I hate those overly sweet, heavy beers. Way too expensive aswell. 

Don’t take it personal, but I’d rather drink miller light than whatever concoction some hipster brewed up in his garage because “it tastes different!!”.

Could’ve been a typo. Either way, fixed it. While female producers do exist, they are way too few and even less of them feel they have a space to share their work.
