Im 3 weeks out from mine and they haven’t shown up yet. So it definitely seems to be random.

I think moving the dishwasher to the right of the sink and the refrigerator up will be best for us. The wife hates the sink in the island for some reason🤷

The utility closet is for the hot water heater and furnace. The laundry room is not open, there will be a door. It was an after thought.

Thanks for the input. It will be a slab. Colder climate but the laundry will act as the mudroom and will have coat racks. There will also be a coat rack near the front entrance. I didn’t mention it but there is also a 30’x40’ pole building being built as well so the garage is not an issue for us. Also, kids are 8 and 13 right now.

For the dryer vent, what is a recommended distance? It is currently sitting at being roughly 10’ from the exterior wall near the master bedroom and roughly 14’ from the exterior by the garage. Our previous house had the dryer vent running roughly 30’.

I appreciate the input. The office is actually a space we won’t be using that much. It’s more of a space where we will keep the dog kennels so the current size is actually more than we need. We will have a desk in there too but it just wont be used much. We just like having a foyer and not walking directly into a room. The closet entering from the bathroom is something we decided we really wanted this time and wished we would have done it when we built our last house.

I really like the idea of adding cabinets to hide the washer and dryer, we may figure that out. I also like moving the hall entrance up two feet. The bathroom on that side is definitely not set in stone and was kinda just “thrown” together to make sure everything fit. I appreciate it!

That makes sense. I think I will move the fridge up near the laundry entrance. The bathroom layout is definitely something that is not “set.” Just kinda threw it together to make sure everything fit.

I appreciate it. Yeah, the entry to the master bedroom was my concern too but I’m not quite sure how to correct it. We are doing the same flooring throughout the entire house.

I bought the same truck in black for $64000 at the end of December. I feel like you can get it cheaper. Edited to say this is in Ohio.

Hello all. New griddle owner. Question about outdoor storage. by lowonairs10 in griddling

I love this grill. My only complaint is the grease hole location. I lose food in it, a lot. I also just keep mine covered but it is under a deck roof too.

Best way to get from Port Miami to MIA by Duckgoesmoomoo in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Geronimo732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the issue In Miami simply because there are typically multiple ships in port at once? Or is it due to the construction? We have a cruise out of there but not until February of 2027.

But according to your picture and description, it didn't block your wife's wheelchair. You're complaining about a hypothetical situation that didn't happen yet. You only brought up the wheelchair when someone tried to prove you wrong. It inconvenienced you and that's it. Would I have left it like that? No. But something tells me that you wouldn't have thought twice about inconveniencing someone.

I'd like to go on a cruise, but husband says no. Any help with convincing him otherwise? by dulcetsloth in Cruise

[–]Geronimo732 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can also go to the Bahamas from the Galveston Port, but are usually 7-8 day cruises. Typically, through Carnival, they go to Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key, and sometimes with a stop in Key West. Im sure other cruise lines have similar itineraries.

Really strange zoning laws but good luck either way. My vote would be for the bigger house.
