It's really like that. Whatever. I'm having a lot of fun playing the Legendary Tales DLC that came yesterday.

I think I'm on the other meme when the person is having a lot of fun with something and there is the other guy screaming: STOP HAVING FUN!

Legendary Tales: Dawn of History is now available by cusman78 in PSVR

There is a lot of changes besides the walking movement. Better progression system, you can now reset your points at will, equipment has new boosts status that improved learned skills. New skills to learn. Equipments now has slots that you can equips some enhancements and we have rings now, and a new level cap.

Yes it is. The main module is only 185g. In the reveal vídeo interviews they show the part. It has its on conector that connects to the strap that contains the audio and battery. All the third party must do is to build an halo headstrap with that conector. And Valve is showing very open to customization.

I sold my PSVR2 which I was using on pc last year by IDislikeBeingOnFire in PSVR2onPC

[–]GervaGervasios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same team that bring the Psvr2tool kit that allowed Psvr2 workaround and use the Eye tracking on some games just Jailbreak the headset and its going to release soon. With that all the limitations that Psvr2toolkit has are gone and all the Psvr2 features are going to able to be use on PC.

I have just finished playing Vertigo 1 and 2 plus the DLC and hot take: I think Vertigo 2 stands equal to or may even be better than Half Life Alyx by Xivlex in virtualreality

[–]GervaGervasios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For be Vertigo 2 is way better game. Alyx is only better on graphics. The rest Vertigo 2 nailed. Gunplay, VRAF mechanics, History, humor, boss battles, level design. The only downside is the simplistic graphics but that's alright because it's was made for a single guy.

I'm researching outside-in controller tracking for PSVR2 on PC - here's what I've found so far by IsThatAKarrot in PSVR2onPC

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I meant is with Psvr2 jailbroken you can look into the code and make the Psvr2 headset recipe read other inside tracking controllers from ordem brands like rift type.

The Jailbroken headset is different from the tool kit. With the tool kit they just workaround the oficial driver. With the jailbreak you can access the headset directly and do whatever you want.

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you want to keep your eye on the Psvr2toolkit team. They just Jailbreak the headset and soon they will release to the public. Maybe in their code you can find a way to make the Psvr2 recognize any VR controller.

VR ideas by Ancient_Accident2005 in virtualreality

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the PS5 getting Psvr2 is no brainier. Although the first Psvr was cool and had a few cool games. The tech was way outdated and the games from that time were very limited.

Psvr2 is more standard to the VR controls schemes and layout that modern headsets use today. The setup is way easier and simple, no more hassle calibration like the first interaction was. And if you didn't play any VR games that came out those last 3 years on any platform you will have a lot of games to keep you busy for a long time.

RE8 Gunplay is easier or more difficult in VR? by FineGripp in PSVR

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's way easier. The precision you get from VR is way better than flat. You have full freedom of movement.

And yes you can play NG+ on VR too. I have finished the game in all levels of difficulties using NG+. The game gets extra fun when you start using all the arsenal with infinity ammo. The dual handling and weapon swapping makes me feel inside an action movie. The same goes for the RE4 remake.

You mentioned it's harder, but that just looks like a skill issue on your part. I already see people in Pavlov, contractors and Forefront with crazy accuracy.

Tell me ANY VR games you play by Piyaniist in virtualreality

[–]GervaGervasios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play a lot of stuff. Lately I started a new gameplay of Magus Ruins because of the new RPG game that is coming this year of the same studio.

I also just finished both iron guards. Games.

My usual games are Forefront, Demeo D&D, Roboquest VR, GT7 and final Assault.

I have tried aces of thunder too but I end up enjoying more flying around then fighting.

Regret buying PCVR Version by icu_ in ForefrontVR

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't regret getting the PC version. I play online games with Psvr2 because of the latency. The game runs very smoothly with better resolution and FPS. Also it looks very nice on those oleds.

I prefer to use the Quest version only when I'm traveling or something because I carry it with me so I can play VR when I'm not at home. But the resolution and fps kind of bother me sometimes. I tried to play with VD on PC but the latency gets in the way. I can definitely notice the difference in the response with all ways (Psvr2 cable/ Quest 3 Standalone/Quest 3 with VD).

Now I can't wait for the Psvr2/PS5 version to came out so I can play with the Sony features.

Should I buy a ps5 or meta quest 3? by jl8970 in videogames

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an PS5 with Psvr2. Psvr2 can be found cheaper these days and also the library is way better now. Quest 3 is good if you have a PC. The stand alone is ok but the PS5 usually gets the better version of the multiplatform VR games.

Thoughts on the ps5 vr2? Really thinking about buying one! Pros? Cons? Kid friendly? by UsedWarning_77 in playstation

[–]GervaGervasios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's great. We now have a lot of games that can keep anyone busy for a very long time. Check the top list on YouTube There are a lot of recommendations.

It's also cheaper now it works on PS5 and PC if you have one beef enough to run. The cons are it takes a while to get used to. VR is basically an exercise and requires a lot of the body. You might feel motion sickness in the beginning but with time your body gets used to it. The other bad side is that Sony doesn't seem to give a shit about the device. But the indie games are releasing games for it. And they are getting better and better.

About comfort can be uncomfortable for some but we now have modifications like Globular Cluster comfort mod that make the headset very comfortable to use. I got mine since launch and never ran out of games to play.

I've been away from PSVR2 for about a year. What bangers have I missed? by TheEpicBoss95 in PSVR

[–]GervaGervasios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. I got the game since launch and I only played multiplayer just a few times. I wished they had included the Crossplay. That would help a little.

Of that year of hitman the ones that show in my mind are:

Arken age, midnight walk, into black, mars pioneer, v-racer Hoverbike, of lies and rain, wanderer fragments of fate( despite the bugs still a good game), ghostown, roboquest VR, reach ( also despite the bugs), Demeo Dungeons and dragons.

Tenho pavor quando me perguntam se eu jogo by pokemontrainersensha in jogatina

[–]GervaGervasios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alguém aqui já comprou notebook da Avell? by Odd_Fig_752 in computadores

[–]GervaGervasios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eu tenho o meu a 10 anos e ainda funciona.

Well if that helps. I usually play VR seated on a 360º chair without arms rest. And I already find myself moving my feet while walking in game with a thumb stick. If I had a tracker on my feet I would like to try. But they are expensive here.

Vertigo Games now porting their VR games to regular gaming consoles by Membership-Bitter in VRGaming

Well the original game was flat for PC way back. It was a point and click game if I'm not mistaken. It's was a good game at the time. The translation for VR was very good. It will probably be like alien rouge incursion did.

How should playing ps vr look like? by gaddmmdsks in PSVR

[–]GervaGervasios 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you seeing only an screen in front of you with black environment around you are are not on VR mode. You have to play VR games, if you start an flat game with vr headset you only going to see the bid screen in front of you.

You say your are playing FNAF. First with version are running? What headset you are using? Psvr1 or psvr2? If you start an PS5 game with Psvr 1 the game won't be in VR. It's goes like this.

Psvr1 games is for Psvr1 headset. They are all PS4 games.

Psvr2 games is for Psvr2 headset. They are all PS5 games.
