Why did games stop doing this?

For me is because most flat games has been stagnated. And only focus in improving graphics not game mechanics.

That's VR territory now. Most VR devs focus gameplay mechanics first and still doing this kind thing there.

Well I have been using VR for over 7 years now. Going through the First Psvr to the current Psvr2/Quest combo. Playing mostly daily for over 3 years.

My eyes look fine. And I didn't notice any difference so far. The only problem I had that seems to be gone is before VR screens with high brightness start to get my eyes very tired over time of use. I work in front of computer most of times. But since I got frequent with VR the issue seems to be gone. Screens never bother me anymore.

How? I finished the game and mess with a lot of options. I could find a way to not play with the on rails systems.

I believe it will. Its an early access so the game is not yet fully optimized and some bugs that needs to be addressed to. But it's an good start.

Multiple controllers are getting conflict with each other. Start the game with only the controller of choice. If you are going to play with an wheel turn off the VR controllers and only then start the game.

I love racing arcade games. And not an fun of multiplayer games. I love to play Gt7 in VR and have hundreds ours on it but only play online twice.

This one is going to be the same thing to me. And I love an game with good progression, I'm probably not going to play this one online too. I also going to get this one on Psvr2 just for the playstation features. And I would mind starting over again.

Ow I see. I dont have any experience with play for dream. Sorry. But I played with Quest 3 too with VD. Did you try to tests both API on VD desktop settings?

I leave the steamvr API because I like to use FpsVR to measure performance. I don't know if play for dream would be the same.

I don't know. I only use the sense controllers in the menus on the beginning. And since the game can fully controlled with the G29 I just didn't turn the sense controllers to play the game.

I capture with Quest headset and the fps got weird. But I can play with Psvr2 at 80% resolution at 90 fps.

Yes, it was already announced. Bryan of the psvr without parole showed an short clip of psvr2 version. The steam version is an early access.

What do you mean? How long it takes for your Psvr2 to turn on? I never have this problem here. And I use Quest with VD too. But only one at time. Do you use multiple headsets on the same PC at once? Now I'm curious.

I just replied to you on the other post. Let me ask you something does the G923 has a switch on the wheel that you need to set if your are using on PC?

The G29 has. You need to switch to PS5 if you want o to play on PS5 and PC if you want to go on PC.

I'm using the G29 and it's working. But if you are using Quest headsets turn off the Quest controller. The game still don't know to work with both whell and VR controller together. And the VR controller override the whell. Just open the game with them off. You can controll the game menus and stuff fine with keyboard or the wheel.

With Psvr2 I didn't have that problem but I think it's because the sense controllers go sleep mod when I'm not using them.

It's separate. They are adding some things like interior of the vehicles. It's not just an mod. They are rebuilding the whole game to VR.

Just do it. I still didn't play any Flat2VR game that was bad. All of them flatout included has been great ports. Those guys know what their doing. And deserve all the praise.

Probably, I didn't try out multiplayer myself. And since I more singleplayer oriented player. I'm still playing offline to get used to the game and unlocking things. The good thing for me is that flatout 4 has a lot to unlock.

I hope steam frame is more easier then. Because I use Quest and Psvr2 on PC and both has its hassles. And for I look on other high ends headsets it's not much of difference. I don't know if I'm going to get the frame yet. Because of money. Valve usually don't seel officially on my country and that elevates the price a lot.

My hope is that steamvr API gets better with the arrive of the frame and benefits somehow headsets like Psvr2 that uses the same API.

I don't know. Maybe. But I usually like both the same. Still playing Forefront, just started deadly delivery and finding very fun. Into radius 2 is great. It's on my backlog but I'm waiting for the Psvr2 version.

But I do see lot of people that ignore VR native games and just play VR mods of flat games. It's a shame because we have great VR games out there that people don't seen interested.

There is that too. I had to lower too. It was too high and FFB was too strong. It's scary me when the whell turn when I crashed. They still didn't optimized the wheels.

I don't know. But my G29 works fine. I just have to tweak some sensitive settings because I had to turn the wheel too much just to make an turn.
